South west wheel repairs in Exeter are very good and I've only ever heard good things about them. They're not the cheapest but do give a very good finish. I think they have the space to store your car whilst they work on the wheels but if you can take them off yourself that would probably be easier for them. I think it's £66 per wheel.
Hi,
Ok thanks. I'll enquire what the price difference is for leaving car with them or not....
Have you used them yourself?

Hi,
One of my wheels has alight kerbing and the others have got the paint flaking away on the inside of the spokes. I'd like to get them refurbished properly.
Has anyone had this done in the South West? Preferably near Somerset/Taunton.
Do most places keep the car there or am I better putting the car on axle stands and taking the weeks to wherever does it?
Not really wanting a smart repair, wanting a proper job done...

Itching to see an update on this... Any news pal?

Are there holes for these to just bolt on? How are they fitted?

Good news, sounds like your builder did a good job. All that work and worry was worth it

Ahh thanks mate. Just did a search on their website. They've got the floor mats, but the only boot mat they've got is a roadster one, so I'm guessing it won't fit.
-
Thanks Alex, who is CMS?
Jon - are they the thin ones or the thick ones? I've got the thin one but would like the thicker type if you know what I mean!
-
I would be interested in a pair at that price. Can you get additional sets?
-
Alex, do you do the genuine floor and boot mats?
-
Go careful at Camp, if it spins, don't try to correct, let it spin I field.
Brake before Avon rise to start with, when you her brave and everything is warmed up you can try braking after it. Keep far left after first chicane / S bend and hit the apex before short straight.
Enjoy and bring the car home in one piece!

Bought one for the misses. Been excellent so far.

Are both rear lights un damaged? One looks like it might be on the right but can't tell from the picture...
Feel for you pal. What an arse!

Watched this thread throughout and just wondering how the car is running since the rebuild?

Sounds like your mechanic is a good one. Coming out to do diagnostics and offering to rectify the fault is not common. Obviously as a consumer we would expect this but it is often not the case!
-
Ok thanks, will PM him.

Cheers pal, PMd.

Hello 14N, wasn't slating it at all pal, the quality of it is brilliant. I did buy it from eBay from a chap who bought it from here but it looks identical to the one's you make. Happy to try a couple of things. Was thinking about putting something under the mat where it sits or some grippy bits of rubber where it touches the plastic trim on top edge...

I've got one, but it keeps falling down when driving, even if the boot is empty. Are these meant to gave something to hold them in place or are they meant for the thicker pile boot mat?

I've just got a 350z in for breaking. It has the "350Z" letters badge, but they are painted black. Let me know if that'll be any use please. Thanks
Hi, thanks for the offer bur would like it OEM colour. Thanks though.
-
Thanks pal but I need the actual 350Z badge, just the Z ideally.
I may have the 350Z badge from when I de-badged mine but I can't remember if I've already passed it on to another member.
Also if I do have it then it's at my parents house as I've a few things being stored in their garage. Can have a look for you tomorrow when I visit them and let you know in the late afternoon.
If I've got it you're welcome to have it FOC.
Appreciate it you could pal, will sort you out something for it.

Can you not put a multimeter onto the fan plug to see if there is voltage? Then just work your way backwards....
-
Jon@Emperor tuning has one on eBay. It's going for just under £10, so I'd say it's a great solution
Bought off him before and can't complain. Super fast delivery and item exactly as described
Thanks pal but I need the actual 350Z badge, just the Z ideally.

Hi,
Somehow the Z part of the 350Z badge on the boot of my car has been snapped.
After a genuine one in god condition to replace if anyone can help? Guessing there's a few who have de-badged and have these lying about!
Let me know what you have.
Thanks.

For me it would Depend how quickly it's changed hands. If it's in quick succession id be worried there is an issue with it and people want shot before it causes a big repair bill.

Ah fair enough thanks, good to know. Always wanted those wheels on my red MR2!
I'll give them a call and see what the prices are. Desperately need doing, really letting the car down now.
Thanks for your replies.
