  1. From the photos it looks like there are at least four panels damaged, and given the position of the damage maybe the alloys on that side too. Still doesn't seem like enough to write off a ~£20k car though.

Did he say how it happened, or give an idea of the level of the impact?

he said, he deals with salvage cars and bought this a year ago for him self.. on the description he says his not sure selling it and accepted my12,000 offer, to be honest if i had this car and wasnt sure of selling it i wouldnt give it away for 12,000 unless i need urgent money.

this is the description on ebay "

Hello this is my 2012 Nissan 370z . Which I have had for around 1 year . I am not 100% sure on selling her as its the best car I have had . Which includes bmw m3 , audi , golfs . This car is by far the most fun to drive I had ever had but I do need to keep my drivers licence . I bought the car from an insurance company as I am in the trade . It was a demo car for JEF Nissan in Exeter . It had only coved 501 miles it had a small accident hence cat d . It had a new front bumber and side skirt . Which was replaced by the local Nissan dealer . I have pictures of it before it was repaired "

  2. Hmmmmmm......... were the air bags discharged, does the pop-up bonnet system still work (if had fired it is an arm and a leg job to replace)

Just mentioning those, not seeing those accident pics.

Think you are right to take an engineer with you as that price/mileage, even with a Cat D, does seem very low to me, but good luck to you if it checks out and you don't mind the hit when you come to sell it.

he said airbags were not damaged, i asked him to send me the after accident pictures again so i will post it as soon as i receive the pictures.

i have seen the pictures literally the front bumper was slightly damaged, and the side skirt nothing else, how is that a CAT D though?

In that case I would carefully check the chassis number .. :surrender:

yeap the person from AA would probably check all of those, including another hpi check etc..

  4. Mil

Nissan, also two services on the service book, first one aroubd 500 miles :s second one done around 1500 :s , i was servicing my 350Z every 4000-5000 this is wierd to be honest.

Seeing as though the car has only done 2100 miles, and is two years old, the servicing periods check out.

They've followed the servicing date intervals, not mileage intervals.

I was worried about that, but now it makes sense.

  5. Cheap car, you need to find out what the damage was and who repaired it .

the person has send me a picture of it, front bumper and side skirt was damaged and changed by Nissan, also two services on the service book, first one aroubd 500 miles :s second one done around 1500 :s , i was servicing my 350Z every 4000-5000 this is wierd to be honest. i already spoke to the person on the phone he said the car runs perfect also he didnt say anything about the AA inspector when i said i will be bringing one so his happy about it.

  6. Hi everyone I will be going to see this car on sunday, but the mileage and price makes me think that they could be other problems with the car.

its a 2012 Nissan 370z one previous owner, 2100 miles on the clock, for £12,000.....I will be calling a AA inspector to inspect the car.

also I heard stories about getting robbed, but i wont be carrying any cash bank transfer only.

    what you guys think?

  7. hi everyone this saturday I am going to see a damaged 370z, from the pictures it seems like a minor damage, nothing to the engine. my previous 350z was damaged as well never had problems with it used it for 3 years, so im going to see this Z.

damaged from driver side headlight, the washer bottle for windscreen is not there and there are few things hanging out (front panel is good, the metal thing that protect the engine not damaged its just side of it where the headlight is). is there a way to get the exact picture of drivers side bumper taking off. so i can compare it when i go there?

    thanks in advance.
