Cheers man, erm so the stereo was from Halfords a couple of years back as it came out of my old Honda Civic, and then it's just an eBay fitting kit man, nothing too fancy! Just all worked out pretty neatly!

  5. A few cheeky updates over this weekend to keep you up-to-date.

Over the last couple of months I've been in communication with Nissan about finding out what number of 176 my 350Z GT4 was, after finding out 87 was the magic number we went about trying to get a new plaque to replace the old one. Well, finally, it all got sorted out, and here it is!

We will operate one on one off..this will mean everyone will get a lot of time on track.. (Often there is a short que in the morning then as the day progresses you will have as much time on track as you want..)

There were 15 slots available for this...with friends, and family being booked in there is NOW ONLY 4 SPACES AVAILABLE Which I thought I would open up to you guys on the forum.

I will update this post as places get booked. Be quick!

Price is £50 all day and must be paid upfront to confirm your space. You can transfer your space to someone else but I won't be refunding if you can't make it due to having to pay track fees myself.

Weather permitting we will have a BBQ on too.. I'll try get some drinks etc.

Spectating is free...so bring a friend!

Photographers and videographers are reminded to bring a Hi-Vis if standing near the track past the barriers..

  7. Newest update:

So my next update was a little bit bigger! I went for a new Front Splitter and Rear Diffuser from RT Performance. They we really helpful and managed to get the parts delivered very quickly. I then found a local body shop to paint them in a Gloss Black finish and fit the parts to the 350.

The results, I'm very happy with the car looks so much more aggressive and really is starting to take shape on how I want it to look. Thoughts and opinions welcome!

And to match all the new gloss black body parts, I removed the door handles and had them sprayed gloss black too.

  9. Again, thanks for all the comments really appreciate it.

So I have had the car for about 2 months now, and have started to get a few things changed over to how I wanted them to be. First things first, I wanted to make it my car with my previous plates from my old car, as well as this I added gloss black badges instead of the chrome ones which were on there, 100 times better!!

(Cheeky angle showing my mates R34 GTT too)

I have also changed the stock Bose one with my Sony Touchscreen Double-Din.

Looks smart and sits nicely in place:

More updates to come pretty soon!

  10. Thanks for all the positive comments guys, really appreciate it. It's tough trying to do anything to it in this weather and as it is my daily too, I can't have it out of action for too long at any one point, however, a few little things, and a couple of slightly bigger things are changing soon! Watch this space!

  11. Hello Mate didnt realize when you said you got one it was a gt4, so is this going to follow your civic and turn to a track toy?

Haha, I know, pretty happy with it! I don't think so no, it's a little more sophisticated for a track toy! Glad you like it!

Hey Kezzman, its not 1 of 176 , its 1 of 76 as 100 were painted in Kuro Black, so its rarer than you think and as mentioned before, the Numpty who removed the numbered badge needs wiring to the mains but Nissan should be able to help you out.

Ahh yes I have heard this, very happy with it, I did email Nissan back about the plaque getting a new one made, fingers crossed they can help me out.

  12. Hi there,

So I've posted on a few feeds and have been online for a couple of months now, thought it would be a good time to start the project thread.

I bought the 2005 Nissan 350Z GT4 in Ultra-Yellow in January 2014 with 68,000 miles on the clock.

As soon as I test drove the car back in December I knew I would have to go back and make the purchase. The ride, the power, the noise, and the colour all were massive selling points.

After a quick clean and a cheeky stubby ariel purchase, me and a fellow Jap-car enthusiast took the cars out for a few snaps. Here you can see the car as I got it, pretty much stock, the only thing I believe that has changed since production is the alloys have been painted black, they will need a refurb at some point in the future. Other plans for the future include:

    Private Plates (From Previous Car),

    Small lighting adjustments,

Engine bay, cleaned and tidied up,

    Double din head unit,

    Front Splitter,

    Rear Diffuser,

    Rear Wing.

Then who knows, Suspension, spacers, wheels, exhaust?

Here are some shots of the car before the project starts:

I look forward to getting to know you guys better, and learning more about the 350Z and sharing ideas and suggestions with everyone.

    Comments are more than welcome!

    Thanks,

    Keiran.
