Grey 55 plate parked up a few cars down from me, anyone on here?

I gave a 370z a thumbs up the other day and the woman driving it totally blanked me. The mrs took the **** out of me big time.

I'm off today. Luckily I did a semi full detail last week so today should be easier than normal. Hopefully!

It felt like a fairly thin layer, less than I have used with collinite wax. I suppose waxes react differently though.

Has anyone else tried the wax? I found it to be a bit smeary. Even after allowing 2 hours for it to cure

A couple of times recently when driving at low speed (traffic jam and car park) when putting the car into neutral it cuts out. It's only done it twice in the last couple of weeks so isn't easily replicated.

Another thing to note is that when switching the aircon on at idle the car sounds like it's going to stall and the revs go as low as about 300 then jump up and down like its struggling to keep running. When switching the aircon off the revs go back to 800ish.

When the slow speed cutout happened the aircon was off. Sounds like some sort of idle control problem, not sure where to start though. Any ideas?

Don't suppose you have the drivers side window switches do you?

Out of interest do you have a standard exhaust or something else? I'm curious to hear what it's like with berk cats and a standard exhaust.

I got my zed from their Nottingham branch. Nice guys there. One thing I will say is that it was advertised as a 1 owner car and when I got there I found it was actually a 2 owner car. Didn't put me off, don't think it was deliberate but maybe double check with them on the details before seeing a car.

If it's not actually broken I wouldn't worry too much about getting a new one. Maybe do another oil change in a few thousand miles to see if there's more shavings.

I've just change my diff oil, had a few very small shavings on the plug. I think that's fairly normal though

Just wondering if anyone has a 350z with just decats on with the standard exhaust? Curious to hear what they sound like.

I got a Meguiars G220 at the same time a friend got the das6. They're almost identical! If you want a random orbital polisher for a decent price the das6 is a good choice.
