  1. Hi Guys,

     

    looking for a Flywheel and clutch for DE import, mines started making a wurring sound and slipping when pulling away so can only assume it's degrading!

     

    not really looking for competition clutches, just want to see if anyone has an OEM equivelant laying about they want to sell before i buy the LUK set.

  2. The only unmarked cars they use around my area are silver focus's and fiestas, I imagine there funding isn't as good as some other Parts of the country lol

     

    Yarmouth have two unmarked Jaguars XF's just FYI, there's also a Unmarked White VRS thetford/Bury way and that Lotus is out all the time.. it patrols the new stretch of the Thetford road, luickly enough i went past it on the opposite side :dry:

    One or both of the flexies have gone on the Y-pipe, they arne't split but it's blowing.

    this could easily be repaired if you can weld or know someone who can

    a pair of flexies off ebay are £30 delivered.

  4. Is anyone here running an Oem exhaust with the silencer cut out, taken my K1 off as it's too loud but the HR system I've bought is just too quiet, even with decats, anyone cut out the silencer is it much louder? Looking into buying a system if not

  5. in order of restrictions against power, its probably cats, y pipe, plenum spacer and air filter, then exhaust.

     

    if you're keeping the free flowing cats you'll be unlikely to feel much difference in power, and you'll still get the rasp from decats, but just wont be as loud. I think you'll be fine swapping a K1 for a HR exhaust.

     

    thanks Brilo, exactly the sort of explanation i was looking for, i'll be reatining my intake, plenum de cats, so hopefully as you say the change of the HR to the K1 should be okay
