I have recently got myself a Zed and want to change the interior switch lights and background dash lights to a theme colour led.

I saw that you hadn't written a guide from the thread but was wondering what bulbs I would need and how to get to the boards to work on them?

I'm a newbie to all of this but have the willingness !

Did you get round to the guide in the end or could you share some of the resources that helped you do it?

Might be a silly question but how can you get to the bulbs behind to do this?

Use a credit card or something to pop out the boot cover and pull the 501 out... Literally pull it... For the dome, use the credit card along the inside side of the plastic and jig it about until they fall out and simply pull the lights out from the connectors and put your new festoons in

Ok, so Theft Proof Tire Valve Caps are a brilliant invention, in fact, if they weren't Blue I would love to keep them, however I don't have the key that is supposed to come with them, but I'm not a thief either - so how can I change my tire caps without investing in new tyres entirely?

So who is going tonight?

Do you know if this works independently or connected to the BOSE stereo or do I need an accompanying HU?

From what I know of wrapping is that it will last about 3 years before needing to be changed and unless you get the newer vinyl products the old wrap will take the paint off also.

Do you do coloured LED's? I've done the interior lights Green, but am unsure of legalities of coloured external bulbs?

Yeah just the light fittings, the only caveat being the sidelights which you need to undo two bolts and pull the splashguard to the side.

 

Let me sort out the current orders I have and il get back to you once these are done, don't want to take on too much and get things mixed up!

 

Just missed out on the reflectors... my timings all off... Luckily the timings on my car are spot on!

 

Does any one do any after market interior lights fittings? I don't like the frosted plastic ones in the 350z. Not sure how I'd improve them though.

I too would be interested in the light shields, the frosty ones seem very aged - maybe a clear or crystallised with mirror back would look good?

That works out to be around £14,200 at 78000 miles, just got to work out what the export cost is and could be in for a great return!

I am looking to change my calipers from the gold to Green, any ideas on how best to do this? (apologies, I am a newbie to customisation and a newbie to the Zed world )
