Well...she lives!!
If you haven't read it check out the thread made by Keyser about their fun and games involving my car!

Thanks to the zed shed family I'm back on the road!
The boys managed a full engine in swap in something like 7 hours, amazing work, whilst I carried out the vital roll of tea bitch :-p
Anyways hopefully some updates when my bank account recovers from buying an engine!

Look's great. A definite improvement from when you bought it. Just wanted to ask you laidbackluke have you changed the bolts that hold the strut bar? I've been trying to source some for awhile but being metric fine pitch they are hard to come by. I know "Pro-Bolts" do them in stainless steel which is what I'm really after but there £4 odd per bolt so I was wondering what your's are/cost? etc (if you don't mind telling me of course). Either way great Zed.
thanks for the comments matey, umm i have no idea where to bolts came from, I bought a strut brace from smudgeon on the forum, and he threw the bolts into the sale, maybe look him up on here and send him a PM

Hi guys,
thought it might be useful to somebody, on the drive in to work this morning i noticed there's a nice looking GM for sale at Coastal Cars on the Ringwood Road, looked like it was sat on Rays wheels too i couldn't see the price though as the windscreen was steamed up!

Another quick update, bought a new head unit yesterday, and thanks to Buster had it fitted! really happy with it, and i finally have digital radio!
turns out Buster had his work cut out for him with the old one.....wires galore!!! but as per usual he came out victorious!
Also went to town with a rattle can and re-sprayed my handles, strut bar and badges a nice matte black
