Thanks in advance for any info. Does anyone here know how to remove the pulley off power steering unit? There's an Allen key fitment to centre, does this screw off or pulled off? Thanks again.

Waht do you mean for power steering mate?

I have this,
(I actually got different tips on it and "burnt look" on the silencer but it's the same)
I Put on it also an electric cutout valve.
Cheers

I did mine myself after the steering rack was removed and replaced - you need a reader that can check steering angle though, I just turned it to 0 and bolted it all back together
Hi Thanks for the reply,
I mean not for the fact to bring the steering to the correct position, but to make the reset to avoid the VDC light that came on each time i startup the car.

Hi,
I was wondering if someone of you knows how to reset the steering angle after a clock spring replacement.
Without go to the Nissan..
Thanks,
Alessio

I FIXED IT, YOU CAN CLOSE THE TOPIC.
Hi Friends,
From yesterday i have a little problem on my zed.
When in start up i notice that the needle goes (example 2.000 rpm) and stay there until i hit an higher rpm, example 3000. then it stuck on 3000, and so on... then some times the needle try to follow the engine rpm but with big jumps, not smoothly as the engine goes.
The problem disappear after 10 minutes of drive, and reappers when i start up again the Z after few hours.
1 - the engine runs as always,
2 - all the other gauges and tacho too.
Thanks,
Alessio

Funnily Enough, I do get some rattles from my e92! I think it's due to a previous owner dismantling the interiorHi all,
I currently drive an E92 which is absolutely crap, I've had enough and I'll never buy a European car again lol.
I'm now 20 and my insurance is stupidly cheap, I can insure a 350 for no more than £950.
My new job is a roughly a 10 mile round trip (through town). I do enjoy driving weekends. My Dad has always had japanese cars, 300zx twin, WRX, soarers, silvias etc. He swears by them!!
In terms of performance, they definitely aren't slow but I really do like a nice exhaust tone from my cars and the engine in the 350Z is great for that.
After selling my E92 I'm happy to spend roughly £7000 but I'd like a nice example, maybe around an 04 plate for cheaper TAX but an upgraded exhaust would be great - what are my chances?
Many thanks
I passed from an e92 to a 350z,
The Z is a lot of fun, awesome exhaust sound with a full one, and go on...
The only thing that i complain about the e92 was that the interior were so rattless-free.
The Z is a full rattle due to the plastics....
However, go on, it's freakin funny
but I'm pretty set on a Z now
Gun metal/Black look evil with nice wheels
I bet your e92 do not sound this way
