245/35/19 front
275/35/19 rear
you'll be fine at those. Not sure if they will hit the arches with the offsets you are talking about though. The tcs is very happy with these tyres sizes
what do you mean about the traction control mate

Hi folks I'm looking at buying some wheels for the 350z and need to know what tyres will fit the rim sizes are
19x8.5" 5x114.3 ET15 Front
19x10" 5x114.3 ET20 Rear
cheers

All these shiny bits and no money to buy them lol also forgot to mention that I'm kinda booked in for a respray in the summer and after trying the pop charger and hks pannel filter back to back I can confirm there is No noticeable differences in power just sound
-
Pleased to know I'm not alone on this one I made a very big mistake the other day I worked out how much I've spent on cars n bikes since I was 17 and its not good I didn't include what ive spent running them either and nearly every one had ££££'s spent on them. Oh well why break the habbit of a lifetime

So on a car I was going to leave as Nissan intended in the 2 months of ownership I have managed to
Fit a HKS pannel filter
A week later order and fit a JWT pop charger
Get the wheels refurbed and painted
Fit braided brake lines
Fit a new audio setup
Orderd a full coolant and induction samco hose kit
Scheduled in for a DC exhaust system
Planning an up rev and inlet spacer
And Decats
And god knows how many body parts I've looked at so that's inbound aswell
Where will it end.....................................

cheers mate just got back from a hydrolics place near me and he has made me up to replacement lines they fit like a treat (using goodridge bits) just need to bleed everything back up now
-
Cool think I'm going to braid it then if someone can confirm that's how they fit
-
Just discoverd a broken brake line on the front right side of the car. It's the rigid pipe which goes from the caliper to a connector block where it joins a flexi pipe. My question is does the hell kit replace this pipe or is it a Nissan only part? Or is there an alternitive way of replacing it. Pictures of the culprit below .
Many thanks

Lol sweet

Is there going to be a dyno shootout then sounds like a good crack what kinda power do the latest celicas make when tuned on the stock engine not the 3sgte conversions though

So what Renault does the VQ have a home. I was under the impression that although Nissan are partners with Renault the 350z was a purely Nissan. Also off topic I haven't looked to closely at this but do you think the 350z was a bit of a test bed for the R35 GTR .
Nope doubt it....the GTR is a completely different beast. The r35 does have a V-engine but thats about the only common link. Believe (from various junk floating around the internet at time) that Nissan did hope to keep config of old straight 6, but emissions and so on forced them to look elsewhere - hence the V.
Yeah makes sense i suppose

Any corrosion on the underside or any dings scratches etc
-
love that car if the mileage was lower i would swap
-
can see mine coming of the road for a week or two to get to the bottom of this
-
oh yeah the sump pan is corroded to and a few plastic clips are missing
-
and i thought civics were bad lol
-
yeah sounds like mine actually looks worse than it is. I reckon although an exspensive route new braces from tarmac sportz anti roll bars front and rear new track rod ends re paint the diff cooling fins treat the surface rust then wax oil oh and some new suspension and exhaust system and i might be getting there
-
Had the first proper look under the zed today whilst doing the gearbox and diff fluids and to be honest I'm not impressed.
Is it normal on these cars for everything to be rusted up it looks like its been parked in the sea all its life the body isnt to bad but all the ancillaries i.e braces anti roll bars track rod ends etc look shagged the cat heat shields are pretty much hanging off. The car has only done 48k.
Hope someone can tell me this is normal lol.
Its a UK car not an import

I had a test drive in the Toyota I had an hours test drive and took it back after half hour. Nice looking ok to drive but gutless should have put the wrx or sti lump in there from the factory. To me it felt like a Type R without the vtec constantly waiting for something to happen when you put the foot down. I was driving a astra 888 cdti at the time and that was a faster car. Then I bought the zed.

Just checked my work schedule I can't make it un-fortunately but noticed that the Saturday is the 14th not 15th ;-)
