Well, firstly I hope I dont get lynched for this......I'm currently looking to sell my 09 reg Racing edition Astra VXR, although a trade for a good example of a 350z GT would be just as good. I was hoping to get around the 10k mark for the car, so a trade plus additional my way would likely be required (and negotiable) Astra VXR Racing Edition No11 09 (59) Plate 2 Previous owners (First owner was Sherwoods vauxhall who maintained the vehicle as a display model to advertise the then new VXR Racing Edition) Just recently ticked over to 47k HPI clear Finance clear - car was bought for cash from my local Vauxhall dealer Full dealer service history Superb condition throughout - no dents, scratches or rust anywhere Two new front tyres with rear retaining lots of tread Completely standard unmodified example (Apart from two VXRonline window stickers;)) Two front alloy wheels recently refurbed MOT and tax until July MOT'd by authorised Vauxhall dealer Additional pictures and any further information can be supplied upon request. You dont want to be stung? And your willing to travel 100 miles to find the right 350z? I wouldnt be entertaining those 2 then, 8K for an Auto Import is nuts! You could get a HR for that! If the general consensus from people such as yourself was that it appeared to be a good car, then yes I would travel. But, given your reaction I'm guessing it's far from that. Apologies, but my knowledge of 350z's is very limited, which is why I joined the forum. I appreciate any guidance that can be imparted that might help me find a decent 350z:) J.

No, I don't work for them. As per my previous posts, I'm looking to buy a 350z but dont want to be stung. Besides, I live a good 100+ miles from Bolton and make my living teaching kids who don't want to learn, not selling cars:)

I was looking at the very same site last week. I enquired about one of the 350's and it turned out to be a cat C write off. I would be inclined to avoid. James.

I think I'm going to have to bide my time with this. It seems that all the cars I have found so far are either to high mileage, to many owners or, in the case of one car, a cat C write off. The search continues...

Thanks for the welcome and info guys, really appreciate it:) I will take a look at the classifieds on the site, although a dealer would be preferable as I am looking to trade my current car - VXR Racing edition. As advised, I'm going to take my time in order to find a good example. Forgot to ask before - I was also wondering, what are the servicing and parts costs like for the 350z?

Hi all First post! I am hoping to buy a 350z in the very near future, but would greatly appreciate a little bit of advice first. I have seen a few cars I am interested in. Some are being sold by a company called Trade Link in Primrose hill. Has anyone had any experience with them? The next is being sold by Zamman of Halifax, which although close to me, I have no experience of either - http://www.zamann.co.uk/used-cars/nissan-350-z-halifax-201303498748204 I don't want to be stuck with a dog, so it's important to me that I choose a respected dealer. Lastly, is there anything else I should watch for when buying a 350z? Any common problems that I should be aware of? Any advice is greatly appreciated Thanks James
