  1. P0311 Cylinder 11 misfire detected

That is impressive on a 6 cylinder engine!

Have you tried with the TCS off? see if this still happens?

You mean tried driving it to see if it jerks in different direction or do the fault code, im not too great with cars, hence i pay everyone else to do my work lol

  2. So i have all sorts of issues at the moment, the latest being if i accelerate hard on a bone dry road, slip will flash

Noise from underneath, think its because of a straight through y-pipe.

Below is my fault codes the cars chucking out at the moment, what can you guys make of these, and how do i go about getting this sorted?

    Engine:

    P0305 Cylinder 5 misfire detected

    P0311 Cylinder 11 misfire detected

    P1136 Intake variable Timing V/V - BI

    ABS

    C1130 Engine signal-1

    C1109 Battery voltage abnormal

EDIT: Wheel alignment and tracking sorted half the problem

  3. Checked the exhaust is done up all tight and has gaskets in place?

Went on a ramp today quick inspection shown it was ok, but its going back to who fitted it on thursday, they are going to have a proper look and reseal it, so ill see how that goes, its the vdc and slip light which is annoying me more.

  4. So lately ive had a few problems all come at once :(

I have like a sheering metal kind of noise from mid section area under the car, can get worse, or sometimes be subtle, but when its worse its BAD and so loud, people can hear it other side of the street sounds awful, got it to a ramp today, coming from the y pipe apparently, inside, my new y pipe has no flexi on it, its a straight through stillen, so my question is, if you dont have flexi on the y pipe are noises to be expected as the exhaust cant of course flex?

My other issue, from a simple google search has returned some of the most long list of possible problems ever and thats the dreaded SLIP and VDC lights both on. Its always random too, sometimes when i start car up they might decide to come on before i drive, or today for instance i drove for a good hour before they randomly come on, no flooring it or racing, just normal town driving. Ive seen on forums, sensors, brake pads, wheel alignment etcetc could all be the problem all the way down to a simple brake light. I have it booked in for a code check on Thursday hopefully that shows something, and Monday everything is being alligned and tracked etc properly, im praying either of these will fix it.

  5. Looks great ..... I love polished rims on black cars they some how make the wheels look wider and the paint better and yours look great.

Just one question did you think about painting the handles black as well? If so why or why not. I am seesawing with the idea on my Black Edition.

No ive got no plans for the door handles, I just like them being chrome effect, that little bit of character I love about 350's :)

  6. So few of you know I bought Mrs Keyser old black 350z :) which had was stonechipped quite a bit on the front bumper, then few months after owning it, car got keyed real bad down the passenger side. So I gave in and give it to the bodyshop to debadge the front bumper and spray it along with repairing and spraying the keyed panels, and here she is now :)8ff222d10a41f964a54e10146c99b15e.png

  7. Hi mate, I have the dubious honour of living in Yeovil and from your description I am guessing you parked in 'takeaway alley' at the bottom of Middle Street? If so I am pretty sure it is well covered with CCTV as it used to be a bit of a warzone late at night. Maybe there is something on tape that might help the Police identify the little s**t who did this?

Good luck with the respray - out of interest who's doing the work for you?

    Cheers

    rob

Very close to takeaway alley i think, i parked in this little car park i have circled in red, i was parked where the motorbike is parked in the second pic. Kennedys bodyshop in Weymouth, is doing the work.

  8. Well gone into bodyshop this morning, key scratche panels will be sprayed and the guy said he will make sure its a decent price as im doing it along with the other parts being done.

Got a lovely 11 plate Peugeot 207 automatic as a loan car from the bodyshop while the 350 is worked on, what a dreary thing to drive haha.

  9. So i park up for no more than 10 mins to grab some food from the chicken shop come back and find the bonnet, passenger wing and all down the door keyed twice, extremely deep scratches too, i was so heartbroken when i seen it. Only consolation is its going to the bodyshop on Monday anyway for a front end respray, but looks like i need the door doing to, do you know if i need the whole door resprayed or is there a procedure for things like this?

Heres a pic for now, sorry its a bad pic, does not show the full extent of the damage as it was night and using iphone flash camera, i would take some more pics in the light but im too heartbroken to go look at it again :(

  10. Wait, what? So if there was no end space you'd just turn around and go home?

    Pretty much yes :)

But ive never had to as of yet, the multistorey at our asda never even gets more than 3-5 cars on the 1st floor let alone the top floor, so im always guranteed up on the top floor, in my pic is on the top floor ive parked there over 50 times now, and that space has never had anyone in it, even on bank holidays and such.
