  1. Ignoring the forum, i have to give Credit To Nissan Middlehurst Motorsport, they have been nothing but help to me, had a phonecall 8:30am this morning, Nissan oraganised transport for me and was on a low loader by 11:30am and off and away, constant email communication and support, and looks like i will be getting service and a stage 1 while its up there too :)

    So credit where credits due.

  2. Thanks guys :) Yes Ian, felt hostile at times, as anyone can understand i was super excited and posted alot on my progress of buying one, getting advice taking pics etc, as it was a GTR forum and i was buying a GTR i thought that was the point, but some felt i was using it like a social media site, others really enjoyed watching my experience and day of buying it. Never mind, cant please everyone. I suppose its a different breed of peeps that own a GTR i just hope if i go to any meets thats its a bit more laid back and chilled.

Got the link for your posts? Maybe some of us would like to read :)

  3. Just thought id pop over to the gtr forum to see if you had any more pics of your lovely motor and was suprised to see your epic thread had hit 17 pages, but as i scanned through i had to say i was really suprised.

What a load of condescending, patronising, high and mighty, "we are better than you" members there are on there. Just because some young guy who has worked hard and saved for his dream car actually gets it and gets extremely excited about it (as would i) and rather than say well done many reply with negative comments and state the creditability of their forum is going down the pan. What a load of idiots.

Anyway rant over - just wanted to say blummin well done and enjoy your gorgeous car. More pics please.

And so nice to see the difference in the replies here, just goes to show the difference in mentality of the users of this place

    I know right :(

I like to post alot on forums, i like to share alot, some people like low key some dont, and i dont, i like to share, but alot of members over there didnt like me sharing alot. They say the GTR cred going down the pan becuase a young lad has bought one, i been working 7 days a week in my business, saving up for it, its not like mummy and daddy bought it for me (my dad has a KIA btw) and to be honest, although i dont have a GTR im probably going to post on here more as its alot more chilled and friendly here, thats if its ok with you 350z guys ;)

As for plans, yes i got a Stage 1 booked in for December which will take it to any figure between 570-600bhp, i already have the Miltek Y-Pipe fitted on her, so the stage 1 tune is half the price, as half of it is the Y-Pipe the other half the mapping. Cant wait !!!

I also am between 2 minds about what to do to the black skirts, front lip and back, im thinking either a Carbon fibre kit down there with lips on the sideskirts OR get them wrapped white to match the car, not sure yet.

As for pics, was going to do some today and a little yt vid, but weather is awful so will wait for a nicer day.

  4. 6. RESULT!!!! I knew it was something simple, as everytime i drove it, the car felt wonderful and fine. Im glad it seems sorted :)

I also have you new tax disc here, they must have sent it to me as they have not changed ownership yet when they sent it out, i will forward it to you asap.

  7. Turned the car lights on and opened door but light doesn't light up :S

Also doesn't light up when centre console opened.

Hey Whazza, i dont think its standard, i remember Keyser saying something when i viewed the car, but was too excited to listen lol

Give him a shout, he should know.

  8.

Thanks again for all the banter it was a fun read. :)

Took it on the chin, good man :)

I'll keep the listing up and if it sells it sells but I'm not worried if it doesn't.

Your not worried if it doesnt, thats good then ;) Your not going to be disappointed then.

  9. I wouldnt blame him for not coming. If he wants to sell it at whatever price he chooses, that's his prerogative. If he does sell at that price then good on him. If he has to drop then so be it but nothing wrong in trying.

I dont agree with sending a link via ebay to this thread . Poor choice IMO

I can see the point here, however if i was the seller i would like to be notified. Can be seen in 2 different ways. If i was the seller id welcome the critiscm and help on selling the car.

  10. Whilst I'm with you all on it being too much, be careful just how much you guys point it out. Having owned both new and old cars and been in the 'scene' a while, it's amazing how when the car is only a few years old (350z/370z), the owners have threads like this, where the car is advertised for far too much and the owner is crazy, but before long, the car gets that little bit older and suddenly the price plummets like a rock in a river and the threads change to 'OMG surely our cars are worth more than this'. Every car goes through this stage and every car ends up worth next to nothing (Well, unless it's a ferrari or a Lambo etc.) and eventually they pick back up again and begin to appreciate when there are next to no cars left. All I'm saying is, don't 'encourage' that depreciation of the car so quickly, maybe try to encourage people to be paying a bit more for the clean examples? All it takes is for a few people to price their cars like this and a few people to then buy them at that price and it actually makes a difference. Just the same as wages really, if you stand your ground and refuse to work for less, yes you'll miss out on some jobs, but the more people who do it, the louder the message is sent to employers that they can't just pay peanuts and get good workers.

Thast right peeps, everybody list thier zeds for 15k-20k contact everyone on ebay, tell them to do the same.
