searching on the interweb has left me with no real answers so here i am hoping that a tech will know this when an engine is referred to as de-tuned how is this achieved ? The 350z engine vq35de is used in a few various vehicles elgrande and espace (v4y engine code - renault) to name a couple , these are de-tuned 350z engines . What actually makes them de-tuned as they seem to be the same bore stroke ect . is it simply just down to the map or would it have a different ecu . cheers

hello , i am huge petrol head but due to a growing family things have had to take a different direction to the supra's, evo's and vr4's i have previously owned , the time has come to get a sensible car and a track toy for my self as i really need to separate the 2 as my wife is fed up of driving 'raw' cars . anyway i have a few questions and will post in the relevant sections shortly .
