That's him yeah lol, could of swore he was a steve.

Alright buster, yeah be good to get some zeds together, there's enough locally esp z33's There are even a few early Fairlady's s30 chassis etc, it wouldn't take much hassle to get a regular meet going for the zed marque in this area, we can discuss that on the day. I saw your mate, steve is it? in the green demon on the way back from japfest, in wimborne, saw this green thing looming in my rear view mirror.I will poke the Keyser/Buster ( South central event organiser ) about this as im sure there will be a good interest especially from the South members.
been thinking about this one.....went last year..would be good if we could arrange a group of zeds from the south areas.

Thank you got it sortedWhy is this forum so hard to use? I cannot paste into the text window and the return key doesn't activate a line down! makes it damn annoying to add the things I want to add.
Is a "feature" of IE10!
Use the little grey icon on the top line of your reply window to toggle editing mode and full control will be restored.

Just for those that haven't read this on the Beaulieu website.
"Entry into the Beaulieu Parkland with your Japanese vehicle is from 9.30am – the Brabazon Restaurant will be open for bacon rolls, cakes, teas and coffees.
Please note that if you wish to park alongside your friends, or fellow club members, you must arrive together as there will be no designated areas available."
So if we can all be at Beaulieu bang on for 9.30am, It takes around 10 minutes to get from the designated meet point at the applemore Tescos, aka Dibden with the following post code, SO45 5JA So if we all aim to be at that meeting point for around 9am this give sus time to group up, be late, and make our way onto the site.

Sorry I assumed most of you would be part of Zclub and would have picked up on it already. Yes it is correct, The event doesn't make provision for clubs/club stands... odd I know. However the easiest way to get round this and ensure we can park together as zed owners is to meet up before hand and convoy in. The applemore tescos, is a popular convoy point and the one we have currently decided to go with. Hopefully we can get some of you guys involved to represent the z33/34 chassis. Should be a good local meet, with some traveling in for further afield, a fair few z32's coming atm. You guys normally out number us 5 to 1 haha so is be disappointed if we didn't manage to achieve that for this event.

this is why I haven't gone for one, the insuarance was more the fuel was similar. performance was similar overall, so mr Nissan hasn't really got himself very far over the last 13 years since the z32 went out of production. I like the 350z modern looks and how its more of a sports car than a grand tourer, its a nice car but weighing the two up il be sticking with my z32 and spending the cash on that insteadI looked at the Infinity G37 saloon as replacement for my 350Z, but the engine was simply too thirsty compared to what BMW/Audi had on offer . Whats more worrying is the fact Nissan/Infiniti still don't offer a 300bhp engine that can offer anywhere near 30mpg combined (370 is quoted at 26-27mpg), compared that to the M135i that has a combined 35 mpg.
Ofcourse you can argue that if your buying a 300bhp+ car your shouldn't care about mpg, but given super unleaded is now nearly £1.40 I think most people would prefer a car that does 35mpg over one that does 27mpg. Personally I don't really care about mpg, but the fact my new car is more "economical" than my 350Z certainly kept my wife happy

Fairladys and the other global names such as 350 etc have been labelled under the z.. chassis tag since the z31 or the orginal 300zx from the early 80s. the earlier 240z,260 and so on are labled slightly differently. If you label the up as the relevant z number its easier than saying fairlady as it could be any number of models and esp for the z31/32 owners saying 300zx you could mean either, and they are very different beasts.

Everyone that doesn't see z33s must be driving around with there eyes closed. I do about 30k a year so a few miles but I see at least 3 everyday, infact ive seen two today and ive not even been to work, a white one and a blue one. and a black z34 for that matter.
-
Well the reason I say 150k is normaly esp wiyh the vg30dett the forced induction is abused or mis maintained causing that sort of life expectancy. The 350 being na should suffer less from this. But as I say maintaince or lack of it, is the kill or cure.
-
pm sent cheers guys.
-
Is he a breaker? Or just got one breaking.
-
Well the vg30 that your engine was its predessor, has regularly been seen to hit 300k but 150k is more realistic, serving is a massive factor and I expect the z33 to follow suit. Over time they will suffer neglect due to being too reliable, thats when they v8 will start breaking.
-
im looking at some point to get my filthy mits of a set of the front brembos and the discs to go with them, how much should I expect to pay for them? ive seen a few sets go on ebay for silly ebay prices.
-
ive got tax now mate gotta go get the alignment done, its whack lol, il drop you a pm and sort it out later in the week
-
I picked up a copy of banzai on saturday holly christ that thing is awesome congrats. Im waiting for my tax disc atm but il let you know and il drag the old girl round to you.

Fantastic turn out! We had around 30 cars turn up in all, I'm not sure there was a single z shape missed! We had the lot. With 3 of our members being selected for the top ten shoot out for the car of the show! 2xs z32's and an s30. So serious congratulations to all those. Lovely day. I think we will label today a success overall.
