  1. I retract evening I said about high millage 350z's.

Mine let go at 102k with a full history, bottom end shat itself.

I was close to the limiter at the time  but it's not something I expected from a Nissan. I didn't investigate it further but I'm 90 percent sure something else/ancillary let go to cause it.

In its defence I will say I've not heard of many going bang. I gave it a hard time performance wise (but it's a performance car) and it was cheap enough that by the time I'd taken bits off and sold the car as it was I wasn't much out of pocket. I've lost more in the past in depreciation :D

  2. I'll be interested in people's opinions on these aswell as I need something for my wife to use for her horses. I'm thinking more a general 4x4 but if any of these are worth it I'll take one for a test drive

  3. I need a 4x4 for the wife. I have a few acres of land that she keeps her horses on, so it's needed initially to get her and her tack etc across the field as she has trashed her A4.

I was hoping for it to double as the family car so I dont want anything to utilitarian, but it will need to be able to withstand her trashing the inside a bit.

    I was thinking maybe xc90?

Needs to be under 7k. Any thoughts on the xc90? Or any other suggestions?

  4. is this for 2 front ones? - seems a bit pricey - i have a price of 170 for ebc turbo groove fronts only

Defo at least on par with ebc quality so I dont know how you come up with £130 as "a bit pricey" but Cheers for that in the middle of my first sale thread :huh:

I am open to sensible offers on these. They will be up on eBay next week if not sold as I obviously don't need them any more

  5. Company's that I know of are for pagid and black Diamond, but I didn't want to put that on the title or claim that they are either of those as he told me he could get in trouble. They used to do the discs for the 6 pot brake discs for tsl subaru until they closed, I used to go to them direct when I had my Subaru. They definitely aren't micky mouse ebay jobs

  6. I have a friend that works at a factory that make discs and flywheels for various well known company's. I bought these from him for my Zed that has now gone. They are in an unbranded box but are of better than oem quality and we're designed to have the grooves in, meaning the groves weren't added to a disc that was never meant to have grooves in it.

£130 collected from Nottingham. I can post them but I have no idea how much it would cost as they are heavy.

  7. No huge oil consumption prior to this and the engine still has good oil pressure. I'm not stressed now it's one of those things, someone's collecting it tomorrow as is so that's that, I'm not prepared to start spending thousands on it. I know what I'm like, if I have the engine out I'll start adding and changing stuff. The zed was never a long term car for me so there's no love lost. On to something else.
