Hi All

 

I'm getting a P2 service done on my car soon and noticed a filter replacement is part of this. The only issue is that I have a JWT Pop Charger installed and would rather keep it. Do I have to replace it or can I just ask the mechs to clean it??

P.S Best quote for P2 is 220 (Inc. Oil etc. and courtesy car) and thats at a Nissan garage

Just checked the service book and its had a P3 at 41k and a P1 at 47k (Oct 2011). Im going to get in touch with powerhouse and see what they quote me dude.

Hi Guys

 

Just wanting some advice on tyre pressures on my new zed. It has 18" rays on it and is an 04 reg the standard on the door sill says 35 on front and rear. Ive spoke to SparksCW (Who I bought the car off) and he recommended to use the standard.

 

What are peoples thoughts with it being winter also will this make a difference?

 

Finally how often does everyone check their tyre pressures. I do 20 miles a day in mine and am unsure on frequencies of maintenance checks.

Sorry to hear that but like everyone says the main thing is there were no injuries. Get a new project in mind and begin working on it!!!

Does anyone have any recommendations of where to get the Zed serviced around here??? Don't think its due for a while just thought id ask for future ref.

Im not saying it couldnt be better its just the amount of bad reviews id read befre getting id already planned my system revamp but luckily im quite happy. Cd skippin is a bastard though any tips on a fix??

Just wanted to post up that personally i think the standard BOSE system sounds good! All I seem to read is bad reviews i work part time at a studio and cant understand the negative reviews. The cd element is @*!# though it skips uncontrollably luckily mines gt the ipod hack otherwise the review would be different lol

Its had the iPod hack so dont know if that had anything to do with it? Would be weird for that to affect the whole system though.

Oh dear I thought it was knackered at first. I was in Herons bridge but moved to bigger building now which is a shame as I have to drive right to the back of car park to get a space where I wont end up with someone scratching the zed whilst reverse parking

Funny @*!#. Do you work on the business park as well then Ricey?? My zed had issues starting today the electrics cut out when I tried to start up and forgot to push clutch in. I had to get out and lock and then unlock and get back in. I panicked initially. Is this a security thing??

A weird thing happened today I went to start the car but forgot to press the clutch in (Only bought car 2 weeks ago) the music was on but then when I remembered to press the clutch in all the electrics cut out and wouldnt start up. I had to get out lock the car and unlock to get it to work again. Is this a security thing or something I should get looked at???

To be fair i have felt like im improvin every day. Love it though how could you not

Only issue with the car is that when i press the esp button it goes inside the dash. I think the spring may be bust or something. I meant just to pull off at normal speed without stalling if i try pull of quick its either really jerky or stalls lol

 

Picked up my zed from Craig (Sparky) on Saturday the 4 hour drive home was amazing ... The first press of the accelerator was slightly embarassing haha. Anyone got any tips on pulling off from a stand still as im quite slow at doing it at the moment ?
