  1. I have owned my 350z for 2 years now and have only covered 1900 miles in that time so I having just bought my first house I have come to the conclusion that I dont need to sell the car but its a waste being sat in the garage so I have decided to let someone else enjoy it. Here are a list of parts that I have for sale.

In the interest of fair play the forum responses will denote the order if a item as multiple people interested.

  2. Hmm I was going to be selling my 56 Revup same colour but black leather same spec etc.. in the near future with 27,300 miles on the clock (Brand new discs/pads all round 100 miles ago) and I was looking to get 8k for it so I think thats abit over priced?

  3. Went around 3 years ago for my g/f 21st Birthday and stayed at the MGM (had problems with ID at first as 11/04 to them is 04/11 (month/day/year) which would meant she was under 21, however I managed to show them my ID which was 21/02 to which they then realised that there is not 21 months and gave us wrist bands so we would not get bothered again), like others said I wouldnt get too hung up on the hotel rooms as you dont spend a whole lot of time there. Also you will notice although you stay in one hotel you will end up visiting, seeing shows and eating at a range of hotels including your own. Drinking at the bars in the casinos is very expensive, unless you are gambling then they have waitresses coming round serving drinks which are free for anything and all you have todo is give them a tip usually a dollar or two. The monorail runs I believe from near the luxor/mandalay bay right along the back of the strip upto the sahara/stratosphere and from memory it only cost around 13 dollars each for a day pass. Im not into fine dining so we eat mostly at the hotels buffets for breakfast and dinner but remember you are welcome to eat at any of the hotels so dont feel confined to your own. Breakfast was around 25 dollars each and dinner around 40 dollars each and being a buffet the range is varied and obviously all you can eat.

Went to the stratosphere, note they have rides at the top to which they sell tickets at the bottom (for a good reason) I bought them all and got to the top and thought f**k that for some of them and only ended up going on the big shot. From the top the other end of the strip didnt look too far away, dont be fooled IT IS. We decided to walk the whole way back which took us a good couple of hours with from memory with a few stops.

We went to see a few shows while there and they have some great cirque du soliel (musical circusy kinda thing) and also went to see the Phantom of the Opera in the venetian mainly for the Mrs however i really enjoyed it. Prepared to get raped for some of the couply things, We did the gondala's in the venetian which I think cost us 75 dollars and there are 2 different ones, 1 inside and 1 outside.

I would also recommend going to see the old strip "freemont street" which has the golden nugget and the like, also has a roof that is a tv and at night 21, 22, 23 hrs they have a show with music above your heads, was amazing, we saw the queen one.

  4. I have spent the day today with a guided tour of Marussia in Banbury Oxfordshire, was very lucky as they had both the cars back from Monza and were working on them and were busy packing stuff up to go to Singapore. Couple of rooms we were not allowed in as they had stuff for next years car in. Was not allowed to take any photos apart from the car in the lobby for confidential reasons but it was a really good day and some of the kit they have in there is amazing.

We were guided around the room with 200 engineers working on both next years car and also analyzing the data from the last race, the R&D area where they stress test new components with forces 10x that they would expect to get during a race. Also showed us their 3D printers where the mock up all the parts before they are manufactured. We were also allowed to see the actual cars that were currently being stripped down with the engines/gearboxes out getting ready for the next race, also what I didn't know was that every nut/bolt is replaced for new every race, crazy. All the main people were there but I only managed to see the Technical Director at his desk.

  5. Not sure how that works? Surely there will be the same amount of cars around in a few years time (most likely less) as they need to be bought in the first place? There were 10k 350z's on the road 5 years ago, some have died, so there are now only 8k but they are much cheaper. Of course I am talking UK cars, you could import older cars cheaper in years to come which would up the numbers.

That actually makes sense, I guess what I meant was maybe not "more" of them physically but more affordable by the general population.. if you get me?

  6. Ive been a member for a little over a year (you wouldnt have guessed looking at my post count). I am on most days, I enjoy reading the threads but generally have nothing interesting to say :).

However when I read this thread I felt I had to post because theres one thing saying you dont like the car (fair enough etc..), theres another thing posting multiple times and going off to the USA forum and getting many links etc.. just to abuse the poster I feel is a little over the top. I dont know any of you and your probably all genuinely really nice people but I thought that was a little unfair constantly pissing on the guys fire when you already made your feelings clear.

  7. If everyone liked the same thing it would be boring, keeps life interesting.. besides the reasons I chose my previous cars, including the 350z was because you don't see loads of them around.. and same goes for the GTR but as they get older and more people can afford them they will become a little more common.
