Get some alloys on it and lower it
Good to see you at the rugby btw lol...... I was pretty far on when I first saw you. What do you want me to do with the Exhaust as its still sitting in my old boys garage.
Love the 370Z still Jay hence looking at the Nismo. Think my hanging about with the mob on here on Sunday has me looking at things with more aero's attached! I don't like modified cars though, lol.
Likewise, we had been on it for a while when I seen you also! Cant believe we drunk that bar dry of lager, we were drinking Strawberry Cider at one point as it was the only alcoholic drink they had haha! Was a great night, U-U-UGANDA!!!
I would likely get the stock exhaust stuck back on it if I trade it in via a dealer and sell the other one on here, can't see me taking that Nismo right enough now on reflection, just too many let downs with the service and to me would give an indication of the level of aftercare to expect. Will stick with mine for the time being. Is it alright lying there for the near future? If not i'm sure it'll make a lovely talking piece in my living room lol.

You quickly get used to the wing in the rear view mirror The reversing camera is a big help too.
I don't know why the camera isn't standard in all 370z's, I've got it in mine and it's a lifesaver when there's a tight space or any hidden obstructions.

Went and took the Nismo for a test drive. Really liked it and can see past the interior trim (although would have preferred either racing seats or the GT half-leather). Was a lot quieter than mine due to the exhaust which I actually liked.
The car was covered in bird @*!#, had almost no fuel in it (one light and the flashing warning saying 0 miles), had the tyre pressure warning on along with another. The sales guy said he had to drive it out of the dealership for insurance purposes then we could swap around, he then managed to hit the rear nearside wheel off the kerb when parking! The Zed is a nightmare of a car to park if your not used to it, felt terrible for him.
Got what I felt was a lowball offer on my car and the finance % was about triple what I could get by going to the bank so left them to come back with a better offer if they want to do business.

No Nismo gear knob, its the stock one. Test-Drove one this morning, that back wing renders the rear window pretty obsolete haha!
-
They called me about it last week, invited me for a test drive and I turned up and they had the wheels off it haha! Going back to see it on Tuesday. The interior is putting me off quite considerably, it looks and feels cheap in comparison to the GT edition.

Absolutely Stunning.
Agree with the above though, would have thought it would have had part-leather given its using the same seats as the normal version.

Got a really uneven patina on my exhausts and want to try and rectify it. Not really sure what to do to sort it. The picture doesnt really capture the problem in its full effect to be honest.

I'm gonna go on the run with the guys from Rev Limits after the meet as long as its dry.
-
The Aventador was something else. There's a countach coming to this one, looking forward to seeing that.
-
The cars on show the last time did ever towards the higher end of the market! Nice to get a look round them right enough!
The Rev Limits guys are doing a meet up at the showcase prior to and a run after the meet for anyone that fancies?
-
Nice to see a few of you are gonna come along

Oooh this looks not bad. And at Eurocentral thats brilliant. What exactly happens with it though, is it a static thing, how much is it? do they go for...breakfast etc lol ?? Looks like my kinda thing
This one's a static meet yeah, just head up, have a look at cars, have a blether, bit of breakfast if you fancy it.

Looks good, if its dry might make this.
Its one thing that can't be guaranteed unfortunately!

Went along to the one last weekend, was a great meet. Some cracking cars from an Aventador, Gallardo Spyder, Diablo, 911 GT3's, Classic Ferraris through to a couple of M3's, Escort Cossie's and Evoras.
Would be great to see a Zed presence at the next one on the 17th August

Cheers GM, I've seen a few out there, just wanted an owners view on what was worth buying . They're not cheap for this configuration so was hoping for advocation!
I hadn't rode a bike for almost 20 years but loving being being back in the saddle! Will likely compromise soon and just get a Ducati!

Seen a couple this week, both silver 350's, one on a personal reg running around Hamilton and another on a standard plate getting a valet at sponge'n'hoses.
-
Just bought a bike an was thinking about going a bit further afield for a ride and some of the routes would have some nice driving so fancied doubling the pleasure. Have any of you guys used a bike rack on your 370z?

I've still not used most of the things that came in the last waxy box I got. Love the idea of trying new things but like you cs2000 I just don't have the time for it, gonna stick to the products I like and work for me.

Quite pleased with the shine I got today. Just Poorboys Natty's Blue.

Wrap Removal & Plastidip
in Car Detailing
Posted
Need to remove some wrap from my car as its become chipped and has cracked in some of the tight curves, its the fangs bit below the plate.
I've had a look at YouTube for how to get it off, realistically how easy is it?
Was thinking of plasti-dipping it this time around as it (should) cope with the curved surfaces better unless in mistaken?
Once removed what sort of work should I do on the paint? Polish, Seal & Wax?
Would usually just stick it into a professional to do but i've got time on my hands at the moment so thought i'd give it a bash if its something that can be done.
Any advice appreciated!!
