the coupe has the anchor points and the roadster doesntI've jsut started looking into baby seats etc as wife is expecting in February.
I had a look through the book at the child restraint section and it refers to anchorage points (where fitted) had a look and definitely nothing there, has anyone looked into having these fitted or doing it themselves, any idea on difficultly or cost involved? I have an 05 Roadster if it makes any difference.
Some good informative posts above so thanks to all.
just my opinion as a firefighter dealing with and specializing in rtcs the last 11 years,
a forward facing seat like the recaro is as safe as you can be with your child in the z coupe(and what i use)this is down to the fact that with the seat back full and the recaro installed, the dead space between the airbag and the seat is greater than the deployment range of the airbag, however NEVER fit a rear facing seat in these cars if you value your child.

the micra, murano and 350z are not listed as needing the recallits worth a quick read
http://www.pistonhea...p?storyId=27522
but basiucally a huge jap recall on cars built between 2000 and 2004 so this would include early 350Z's and this recall was for nissan mazda toyota and honda

a couple of people on here have, got to make sure your in dust free environment i believe the guy on here turned out quite well cant find link, but its doable i reckon with 3-4 cans to make sure you get even coverage as it is a large panel
dust free shouldnt be to bad i can do it in one of the fire appliance bays in work with shutters down,i would love to see results from someone who has done it though
-
as above anyone done this?,how did it turn out and how many cans for a 350z?

Hi Guys,
I have an issue where I get a clunking noise from the rear when pulling off from a cold start either left overnight or left for a longish period of time. It used to be very occasional, but now its becoming more frequent.
Never happens again once it happens once whilst pulling off at the start of the journey.
Can't seem to find the answer anywhere.
Is it different to rear clicking axle as its not under constant stopping and pulling off.
Thanks
most likely your brakes sticking mate ,do the discs look tarnished before it happens?
