  1. Thanks for the advice, I have checked the brake fluid levels but I will give it a good going over to ensure its bang on the mark. The pads moving in the calliper is of no concern?

I understand the lights pose a risk which is why I am avoiding driving the car unless its short journeys , for work I have an alternative :)

In a new development the car has decided to eliminate the 3 lights and all ABS functioning normally.......and then the lights would re appear when using the car again.

Is the brake switch expensive and easy to change??

  2. Yes I know but it's an hour drive and my partner not long after had are first littlen so it just left my mind if I'm honest, brake fluid is all full as well....before I have them a bell I wondered if anyone had experienced this.....maybe abs sensor or pump?

  3. In need of advice as I now currently have 3 warning lights (ABS and both traction control lights) Displaying constantly on my dash during travel. However they only come up once the brakes are applied hard (This being either at a standstill or moving).

Since Abbey changed my pads around March time to uprated ones the car has a sort of click/clunk when engaging the brakes when rolling anyone know what this could be and do you think this is related to my warning lights.

Otherwise when applying the brakes sternly you can hear the ABS pump/motor clicking like its spinning but not working.

I should get a diagnostic reading but thought it would be a good idea to ask first before I commit lots of ££££'s into it.

  4. On my way home from work it became apparent my ABS and traction control preferred to not work, After turning the car off in traffic and then back on it seemed to go but once I applied the brakes when moving again it came back on.

Getting home with the thoughts of big bills ahead with ABS pumps and sensors being changed etc etc I disconnected the cables from the ABS pump and cleaned the terminals out on each cable with compressed air, Miraculously this seems to have cured the problem with a quick blast round the block to partially proof test it with some brakes tests ensuring the ABS pump worked.

Just curious to see whether to see if anyone else has experienced this and if so how did you come to solution?

    :teeth:

  5. I have been looking into changing my exhaust system as its begining to corode, so I thought why not go for something loud as I have the other halfs car for our littlen :)!.

Even with the drone I still really like the buddy club system however xo you guys think I should play save with a cobra non reasonated system with a y pipe.

Either decesion I was wondering if any of the traders on here stock the buddy club or are they a rareity?

O and finally my budget would be in the £700 ball park.

    Thanks!

  6. Hey all! , I rarely make posts so I thought I'd change that!

After a lovely driving holiday to the netherlands and to germany the car had a good old stretch down the autobahns...the lazy v6 loves to pull up to high speeds :teeth:. Although underground carparks are just a NO NO ended up making all the effort to avoid ripping my exhaust off on the top of the steep slope succsessfully with around 2mm clearnence and went off a sloped curb and i hear that dreaded noise of the nismo splitter rubbing the road  Will allways hate that sound!!!! Also the belgian motorway agency seemed to think its rally cross track as there was often large crater like holes in the road resulting in my bolts for my undertray to come away meaning I had a new airfeed to the engine ....after a quick bodge in the service station it was all ok however i do need to bolt it back up but the wholes wont line up .

All in all though the car contiuned to impress me throughout the trip with vpower racing in (102 octane) it was still averaging 26-27 mpg on the motorways (Including the 155mph autobahn dash). Never felt uncomfortable would love to take it back again!

Would anyone on here be intrested in a ring run? Would be a hell of a laugh with fellow zed enthusiasts!
