Well the deposits down on a 54plate, GM, 50,000 miles, One owner from new, brakes are good, tyres are good, almost a full service history, he's slacked off a touch over the last couple of years because he's hardly used it, still passed the mot the end of last year with no advisories.

There's a few marks here and there on the bodywork which I don't mind getting done as I'm planning on keeping the car a while! Interior is pretty much spotless though! Looking forward to picking it up on Sunday!

Ah the dreaded email..."we've just taken a deposit on the car" damn it, the search continues....

Right guys, I went to look at a car local to me on Sunday, the cars from a guy/company called Midwest performance, I've read the thread on here but the bloke seemed pretty fair to me.

Now does the price seem ok? There were a couple of things on the car that I noticed, a dent on the bonnet, probably the size of a 50p but fairly deep but thats not really a problem. The alloys had some curbing but nothing a refurb couldn't fix. But the airbag light was flashing consistently on the test drive, is this a big problem or just a diagnostics reset or worse? The exhaust was also knocking slightly at the rear but I'd imagine that was just a bracket, as it stopped when I put my foot on it!

Now apart from those bad points it did have brand new discs and pads all round, a new clutch, new banana bars, just been through a service and mot until October plus a stainless exhaust system.

I'm just after some advice and knowledge please, as I don't know a lot about the cars....yet!

I'm looking for a 350, my budgets around £7000, not too sure about the colour, I'm leaning towards black but I know how difficult they are to keep looking clean! Lol and I'd like a fairly unmolested car, although I don't mind having to do some bits and pieces to it. The plan is to keep it fairly clean and standard, I'm not sure how long that will last though....

Just thought say hi, I've been signed up for a little while now looking in on all the info but mainly the for sale section! Hopefully I'll be buying in the next month or so just waiting for the right model to pop up! It will be quite a step up from my 1.6 civic!
