  1. Thanks again guys. I'm looking at used 370z's currently, on Autotrader, Pistonheads etc. the spec seems to vary a bit and as for colour, I've always been a fan of black, but am open to suggestions (I know you'll all be biased though!!)

What are the 'must haves' in terms of spec?

  2. Thanks for the replies guys......I'm in Leics, and will definitely be looking to change the exhaust (I think all the ones I've looked at must have had the exhaust changed :) )

Spec wise, I like to keep my cars standard but any tips/advice would be much appreciated

  3. I'm on the verge of being a new 370z owner and dislike the idea of not having a spare, so have read this thread with interest. What is the approx cost of a 350 / 370 space saver?

  4. I think the Michelins are hard to beat - expensive but worth it and relatively hard wearing, depending on the amount of lead you have attached to your right foot :teeth:

  5. Ouch! Just read through this topic and I sympathise hugely, this has happened to me twice, both times with polished alloy wheels (nightmare to refurb and impossible to repair). Needless to say my reaction was the opposite of mild mannered

  6. I'm new on here but having had a few nice cars over the years I thought I'd share some of the detailing products I've used successfully. I've always tried to keep the cost down (driving the thing costs enough as it is nowadays!) so these are good products for the budget conscious owner. I've used many different products over the years and these seem to work very well indeed for the money.

Wax - Smart Wax (pink) or Meguiars

Wheel wax - Poorboys Wheel Sealant

Wheel cleaner - Muc Off (Acid free)

Glass cleaner - Autoglym Fast Glass

    Clay bar - Meguiars

    Lubricant - Meguiars Kwik Detailer

Leather cleaner & treatment - Liquid leather

Hope this is useful, I'll add more products as I think of them

  7. Hi - I'm new here. I'm about to pull the trigger on a 370z, so will be spending a lot of time on these forums looking for advice and sharing experiences etc.

I've had a string of fairly decent sports cars over the years but none that sound quite the same as that lovely 3.7 V6
