Got there for 820am this morning and pretty much drive straight in. Car park A was soggy this morning but dry by the time we left. Nice and flat as well so the Z coped fine.

Been today, got there at about 820am. Awesome day, button and Hamilton stood 10ft away, Jesse James caned his trophy truck up the hill and the audi Quattro sounded stunning!!

Car park A was a bit muddy first thing but had dried out fine by the afternoon, long day but well worth it!!

You were flying for someone who hadn't had the car long! Good fun trying to keep up with you though on the drier stretches of tarmac. If we get a properly dry meet it would be nice, I'm always hesitant in the wet.

 

An R35 would be sweet, seen a few around parked up but rarely see one on the roads!

Only got the MOT that morning Brillo, that was the first drive!!! Lol

Went out in the R35 yesterday and it's from a different planet!!!!

Bennett, it is an r35 and omg it's quick!!! He ony got it yesterday and asked me today if he could come next time!!!

Beckie enjoyed it as well, guess she will be wanting to sell the Audi and buy another z!!!!

Thanks for a brilliant afternoon, being the newbie my wife and I had a fab time hooning around the countryside, meeting you guys from the forum and a great choice of pub that has to be revisited for another steak!!!!

Just a quick post to big up the lovely ladies at Livingstones Warman Insurance Brokers, Penny has gone out of her way to get me the best quote for my Z!!! She even stayed after hours on the Friday before the bank holiday weekend.

Penny then got me a fantastic quote of £495 for the car, with modified exhaust and 19" alloys.

I would thoroughly recommend giving them a call.

A word of warning though, Welland is very hot with Speed Camera Vans so be careful!! 30mph through the village

I will be joining the west midland meet up on 16th June at Evesham golf club and can't wait to here the noise of the V6 again!!!

Live about 2 miles from the 3 counties show ground so hope it's not on that weekend!!
