  1. I've just changed the crankshaft sensor and it seems to be running fine, gave it a bit if heavy footed driving and there was no hesitation., just want to get it attached to a diagnostic and see what the intake valve timing is reading, but hopefully that's fixed it.
  2. I'll give that a try and see what happens
  3. Its been recommended I use a consult 3 to find out why i'm getting fault codes 0011 & 0021 valve timing problem, they're both running between -15 & -17 degrees.
  4. Its been suggested to take the gearbox off and check the flywheel.
  5. Cps changed, and still the problem all the sensors and solenoids have been checked and they all work fine but still throws up the error codes 0011 and 0021, then if pushed it hesitates and will throw up the cel and 0345 code.
  6. I'm in the process of getting one, hopefully that'll sort out the problems and i'll be able to properly enjoy the car again.
  7. The original problem is still there (the cps and intake valve prob), then a day later it had problems starting which was the battery dieing, it was just a coincidence that it happened around the same time. I thought the 2 things were linked, but they're not.
  8. That was a seperate problem that decided to happen at the same time, it was the original battery though.
  9. The problem starting was a battery in the throes of death.
  10. Do you have any contact details, address?
  11. Will that sort out the starting problem too? How much are the CPS ?
  12. Down in salisbury, so any specialists also around southampton, bournemouth and poole areas are easily accessable. It's an 04 350z uk model.
  13. I had the 'engine check light' come on so i took it to nissan and got the codes, P0345 Camshaft poition sensor P0011 and P0021 Bank 1 and 2 variable valve controllers, which were at -17 degrees, should be between +5 or -5 They checked the timing chain tensioner protrusion which was at 14.5mm, they're techs 'think' the chain could be stretched which is causing the other problems. Then the next day i had problems starting it after work, as if the battery was nearly flat. They quoted £1000 in parts then labour on top to change the chain. The car has only done 43k miles. Any ideas?
