  1. :teeth: you no what count me in, you seem like a good bunch, expect to see a wrinkley old git minus a few teeth, my sincere apologies ,

i could do with a nice ride out in the 350 z, not a spanker but its mine and i intend to rectify the faults with my car, and myself , thanks everyone see you sooooon , my spelling,

  2. please count me in for the meet , will not be eating but certainly will be having a chat and a glass or two of pop, however my first meet , and hopefully not a clicky bunch like the subararu club i am still a member of , mines better than yours , i have more money than you , etc etc actually i think i wont bother count me out , i love jap cars but not always people some are stuck that far up the crevice they can no longer see day light. :bang:

  3. i missed a big point, probably best to wash and keep clean at a doom and gloom time in the winter when its freezing and dark and wet , to keep the salt and grime down, to reduce the damage that that salt does to ali wheels brakes and body work.

its amazing how quick a motorbike degrades in the winter months, insects and road tar in the summer, oh and the feathered bombers, flying @*!# machines, i think nowadays have lazer guidance , cos they always get my car when its clean.. ! shane1964

  4. ;) im not knoking anyone , each to there own, i like to see a nice garden however i cant stand pulling out weeds and the gits are back next wk, and if i w  as a woman i would be one mean ugly git , hrs on make up no no,
  5. B) yep the suns out , and washed my beast , the car that is, looked at all different angles of time and money wasted, and different opinions and doubt if anyone will like or understand, but im 48 and when i was younger and had energy i used to spend hrs washing and waxing and cleaning my sunbeam lotus, (20 odd yrs ago) , then after 6 hrs of graft the next day on the way to work it would rain and on the bypass following lorrys and heavy traffic by the time i got home the car looked shite, and then i changed my car washing experience , i decided not to waste valuable hrs every month polishing waxing, so what i do is get a bucket, fill with water and shampoo, wash the car and leather it, takes about 45 mins, and wax it every six months, job done, then consider the value, if you bought a car brand new drove it home put it in your garage with a dust sheet over it for 5 yrs and decided to sell it , it would be worth at least half of what you paid despite a handfull of miles and mint paintwork, unless you have a rare super car thats worth millions your polishing a turd , thats loosing money every wk in value despite your hrs of loving polish and claybar extreme nonsense , and yesterday i spoke to a car detailer who told me hed spent 34 hrs on a customers standard ford fiesta, and charged £400 what a waste and what a mug, so my view is yes wash your car and keep it clean , but dont spend hundreds every year and waste hrs and hrs , cos it will probably hiss it down tomorrow , enjoy your tin box and remember the more miles appear, and with every year its worth less and less, included a picture of my turd, 45 mins wasted washing and leathering but saved myself 4hrs of detailing and some money :boat:

  7. :teeth: thanks for the response folks if any of you went to castle coombe event hope you had a good day , i plan on going to santapod or some were closer to me , thanks for the info regarding my pipes at least someone has been kind enough to point out its not a nismo just got the kit cant find the log book at the min but could have sworn it said nismo on that but i maybe wrong, i mentioned it to the owner of the nissan garage when i bought it, would have understood if hed had pointed out its not the real deal just a body kit presume factory fitted, not to worry i still like the car, and, no havent taken out the bungs yet but will have a bash at it tomorrow if i can undo those nasty looking rusty bolts ,it will no doubts sound louder , im not used to tinkering with cars, talk big bikes and i would no were you were coming from the stuff that blow away your every 400 break jap car into the weeds and make em look like slow slugs , while im at it on a roll , a plenum spacer, that i keep hearing people mention , and would changing my air intake make much differance ...? thanks people for your opinions shane1964
  8. ;) sorry if i have posted this question in the wrong section not good on forums, will be lucky if i get back here to read anyones comments old thick git, thats my excuse , gotta 350 nismo and has 5 zigen tail pipes and y piece fitted , is this a standard set for a nismo or has some one likely had these fitted and how do you rate them thanks very much, everyone will try and include picture shane1964 :yahoo:
  9. B) very nice my wife had a nice black mx5 about 6 yrs ago , paid 6k it was a spanker everything including the engine bay all the rad pipes and liquid bottles looked brand new, we had the choice of 5 differant types of alloys, not keen on the ones fitted to your car, no disrespect meant , remember to unzip the hood and lay it flat before dropping the hood, our bmw z3 should have had this as it would have saved a crack and split appearing, in the clear plastic back window, the only issues we had was drivers electric window packed in regular issue due to silly wire cables that can be replaced with direct drive motor also one of the front calippers would stick and course binding, and for a 1600cc wasnt very good on petrol having said all that good well built fun cars , and you can buy chrome effect rings that go around your air vents cheap enough , brightens up the interior good look with your car hope we have enough sunny days this year for you to get the roof down, oh and forgot to mention best powerfullist (my spelling), aircon ever had in anycar that we have owned take care and enjoy shane1964 :byebye:
