  1. Thanks for your reply. Has anyone had this problem before and should I expect the engine to be misfiring or have rough idling with a faulty ignition coil? I'm just concerned whether this problem is limited to ignition coils or if it could mean a fauly ECM as well... the relative replacement costs of which are considerably different! Thanks!
  2. Hi guys, Hope you can help me out. I own a 2002 JDM A/T 350Z and recently had my SES light come on while driving. Checked the stored code and came out with a 'P0350'. I understand that this may have something to do with faulty ignition coils, but I haven't experienced any loss of power or issues starting the engine. I cleared the code, and the car was running fine for a few weeks before the SES light came on again with the same code. The car still runs fine. Could anyone shed any light on what the problem might be (if any), and how much I might be looking at for replacement parts, if need be? Thanks!
  3. Woah! Thanks, Alex! You're the man... as usual.
  4. Hi guys, I own a 2003 AT JDM 350Z, and have had a few issues with a sticky rear, passenger-side caliper. There's a fair bit of corrosion and no amount of cleaning seems to help the situation. My local garage has quoted the part from Nissan to cost £325 and on back order from Japan, but I was hoping the great minds here might be able to provide me with a cheaper/faster solution? My discs are 292mm and currently have non-Brembo single pot calipers. Thanks for your help!
  5. Hi guys, I own a 2003 JDM Auto Base 350Z and I've previously had some trouble with my Z because of water damage. My ECU had a short and needed to be repaired, but after driving around for a while, I noticed that I had no high beam on the headlights, and the wipers would start intermittently. In addition, the AC compressor isn't working properly (no cooling!) I took the car back to the garage and they told me that the IPDM also had water damage, and parts of it were corroded. In short, they say that I have no option but to have my IPDM replaced. 1.) Do you agree that this is the case, or could it be the BCM causing the issue? 2.) Can I buy any used replacement IPDM to replace the current one? As mentioned, I have a JDM, so wondering about interchangability of parts. 3.) Does a new IPDM need to re-programmed or would it be plug and play? The electrician informed me that the part number on the current IPDM was: 284B7-AL505. Attached are a couple of pictures detailing the water damage. Any help or advice would be much appreciated!
