Averaged 28mpg, at either pootling speed or, ermm, a lot quicker!

Did a 1100 mile round trip from Hertfordshire to just south of Aberdeen this weekend in the Zed. She performed beautifully, I was so impressed. Such a great GT car. Took in some of the more scenic routes as well as bombing up and down the motorways.

I was in the F plate black one - I didnt think to check on here if anyone was going as not been to any meets yet... next time!

Ordered one too, on a total whim. Shiny tools mmmmmm

Can't do that date as at Le Mans but keen to join if there is another event

Can anyone recommend a wheel refurb place near St Albans? Off-side front is looking a bit worse for wear due to me thinking I was in a slimline Lotus not a bulging 350Z!

I have a question, not about which type of tyre to choose (although I have spent hours trawling through the various threads).

I need to replace my two rear tyres fairly soon - they are Bridgestone Potenzas.

The front tyres are not nearly as worn.

Should I replace all four at the same time? I was not going to go for Bridgestones again having read the reviews - debating which brand to buy currently and not after any further advice on this in response to this post - and is it more important to replace the fronts if not getting Bridgestone rears i.e. is it important the fronts match the rears??

I drove past the London Colney retail park at the weekend, and there was some sort of car meet going on, there was a black Z there - don't know if it was yours or not Wija. One of the cars was a Ford GT too! Also I vaguely remember waving or flashing my lights at someone in a black Z a couple of months back on London Road.

 

Seen a few other Z's in the area, there is another grey facelift Z parked around the corner from me, and my neighbour has a sunset orange Z.

 

As a side note, we could organise a meet at the Drift Limits gold experience, that is a lot of fun! Did the Silver experience last weekend, great day out. It is only in Hemel (Bovingdon).

Wasnt me Matty, but would always give a flash back. It is one of my criteria when buying a car... must have a forum and must be the kind of car where people flash to say hi! Might come and watch the drifting but probably wont take part - I have a fwd track car for hammering as the tyres are a bit pricey on the Z.

Hi,

there is a phone kit installed in my Z - not sure what make or model of phone it is currently for, but there is a connection in the storage unit behind the handbrake (by the heated seats switches) for the phone.

How easy is it to change this to an iPhone adapter? And will this work with the steering wheel controls in terms of being able to answer the phone whilst driving?

And will this charge the iphone when plugged in there?

And is it at all possible to connect via this method and play your iTunes or is that a step too far!

I am generally rubbish with electronics (as you can probably tell by the questions) so noddy answers only please.
