  1. Theres 3 brackets that hold the clips on the skirt, maybe they have broke off?

The clips are a couple quid each, and push into the female clip in the sill.

    Hope this helps.

  2. Yeah that's it. M3's a good car but the older shape is starting to look dated a bit. Still like them though. A BMW is just a real nice place to be in for a journey.

    Yeh i had a 55plate 330ci m-sport (below), such a good ride :)

I know E46's are alittle dated now but it will be a stepping stone to a E9* M3 :)

  3. So did you purely buy this car with the intent of selling it once it was done? Looked good once fixed but seems a shame to waste all the time fixing it and then selling it

No, just a change of heart!

The car is mint aswell!, im gutted tbh... Im still being torn towards a M3 vert, there was absolutely nothing wrong with my 350, and they are like rockets!..lol

Its just i felt it wasnt for me :(

Ive sold it to a nice chap so it should hopefully look after it :) (he got a bargain tbh).

I got my money back and made a hundred so least i didnt make a loss, but yes i did put alot of time and effort into the car, but thats life!

  4. Cheers guys, ive got my eye on something else :)

But im not to fussed if it doesnt sell really, as im happy to keep her, maybe add a performance exhaust, wheel spacers and my private plate

I gave her a clean yesterday, and the car really is mint! not a mark on her!

  5. Mad moment really but im putting my zed up for sale?

The car is a 2004 and has covered just 49,331 miles with 4 owners. Its in mint condition, and comes with the GT pack!

Also comes with service history, 11 months mot and 5 months tax.

    GT pack

    RAYs forged 18" alloy wheels.

Heated and power adjustable driver and passenger perforated sports seat, trimmed in black leather.

    Zenon headlights with washer jets,

    Cruise control.

BOSE headunit with built in sub.

Integrated Nissan Bluetooth telephone preparation with voice control.

    Climate control/AC.

    Brembo brakes.

    Multi-function steering wheel.

    Trip computer.

    Gear change indicator light,

    Front and rear strut braces.

    On/Off traction control.

The car is completely std apart from a pair of Zed badges and front clear bumper reflectors.

Sadly this 350z is registered as a cat d (2012) due to light panel damage to the drivers side.

Please dont let this put you off as all parts were replaced with genuine nissan ones, and repaired professionally at great expense!

Any questions then please ask, and i also have full documentation of the repairs carried out.

Any inspection welcome, if you wish to test drive please bring proof of insurance.

£6500, also the car is on ebay, but i would prefer to sell it to an enthusiast! :)

  6. Ok so some may know i bought my 350z as a cat d, its all been repaired with genuine parts and only had light panel damage and airbags.

The car went straight through Mot no problems, so where im at now is 11 months mot, 5 months tax, service history, 49k.

Car is a 2004 UK Gt model with all extras including rays, leather, brembos etc and it really is in great condition, all the paint work is mint :)

The only bad thing ive found is that the gear knob is worn??

Im itching to get another bmw maybe a e9* m3, i miss the comfort of my old 330ci, the zed is great and pretty quick, but im always aware of the build quality of a jap car.

So the question is ' whats mine worth'?

    Cheers peeps.

  7. Bad luck m8!

    What airbags have deployed?

After just rebuilding my cat d accident damage 350z, i cant stress enough to get prices of all the parts first!

350z parts are not easy to come accross and pricey, i paid nearly £500 for a new rear quarter panel from nissan and £250 for a second hand door (delivered).. Thats if you do decide to repair it?

Then your going to have paintwork/fitting etc on top of that, i did all the work myself as im in the trade so didnt have the added expense, but it would of been around 2k.

Good luck if you do decide to repair the car.

  8. Update!

Fitted new (second hand) throttle body, fingers crossed its been fine since! :)

Gave the car a good highspeed run 2nite and no eml light...

So looks like the tps was to blame.

Hopefully i can get on and enjoy the car now

  9. Its quite hard to remove the cover completely tbh, i did the following when i painted mine.

    1) remove door card and the black plastic trim on back of mirror.

    2) unplug wires unscrew mirror base and remove.

    3) on the bottom of mirror are a few screws, undo them and this will split the base from mirror.

    4) i then removed mirror glass.

I didnt strip the mirror down any more than this, once the mirror casing was prepped i masked off the wires, plugs and base.

    Hope this helps.
