  1. Cheers guys, that's the car tucked away for the winter again
  2. Hiya guys, long time since I've been on here!! As above looking for a drivers front wing, preferably in met grey (dunno the paint code or if there's more than one grey/shade) Any help would be much appreciated guys cheers
  3. Strange you say at pal, the majority of people who own z32's do so because there favourite part is the front lights, yet old school Z enthusiasts reckon the lights are an oddity, think its because the lights were a completely new design from the 240's, 260's ect There the lights used on the late Lambo Diablo and Nissan R390 tho an it's what drew me to the 300, very older supercar looking I thought
  4. Cheers guys, the car looks slow on the video but that's honestly just because it looses traction when boost comes on so all you can do is let off the throttle and change gear lol
  5. I'm hearing you on the 99 spec bumpers pal, they make a massive difference tho my bumper is part of the original IMPUL 932s kit, seriously rare so I'd never part with it, I've only ever seen one other zed with one and now it's off the radar, If anything I'd rather continue with the Impul styling (minus the spoiler)
  6. in standard guise there very aged looking but theres loads of subtle bits n bobs you can do to modernise them yet retain a standard look, people are always telling me they cant believe my slickie is 20 years old lol
  7. thought you guys may appreciate some pics my mate took of our Z32's ....... silver 92 tt manual swb slicktop black 89 n/a manual lwb hope you all like
  8. Hi again fella'Z thought id make a wee thread to keep you guys updated on my slickiez progress. for any of ya who didnt see my original thread with the background info and pics of the car here it is........ viewtopic.php?f=11&t=58980 so since then theres been a couple of additions a little illumination, rear illuminated light panel...... these were originally offered as a factory extra on the z32, the originals are now rare as hell and are all rather dull due to age, this one is is a replica done by one of the guys over on zxclub.net matching front badge........ dunno if im sold on all the blue stuff but its kinda cool lol and can be turned off whenever i dont wanna look at them lol next is my exhaust, japspeed stainless decat front pipes with silencers, japspeed x section modified to fit the swb (only made for the lwb) mated to my original custom cobra rear boxes a VIDEO of the racket lol!!! http://s457.photobucket.com/albums/qq29 ... 6eb8b1.mp4 upper camber adjustment arms being fitted........the blue plenum is next once i have my EGR delete kit hope you like
  9. That was my mate driving it lol eeeeejit lol
  10. Cheers for the kind words guys, this is the only video I have with the car actually driving.....
  11. Here's a pic of my slickie and Davies old zed (that he should never have got rid of)
  12. Welcome Davie, gill defo pickin the car up the mora???
  13. Thanks guys, yea I'm thinking about changing the seats again, just black leather I'm thinking, other than that I think il just be concentrating on chassis mods this year
  14. Hiya guys, thought I'd throw up a few pics of my car and a wee bit of info for those of ya who like the old 32's The car is a 92 twin turbo manual SWB SLICKTOP I swapped my old Evo 4 for my Z back in 2009, mates thought I was daft but I knew the potential the car had and value being a slickie so I done the deal with a guy of another forum The day I said cheerio to my Evo Also a BIG incentive for me in buying the car was that it had just been featured in channel 5's fifth gear!!! Still to be aired I took the guys word for it and he wasn't lying so even better lol Can watch it here: Or here (whichever works) http://emob457.photobucket.com/albums/q ... SVChea.jpg Some old pics: And then the work started................... As the car was a bit rough round the edges but structurally and mechanically sound (after I replaced the engine) I decided to throw some money at it So MEGA RARE Impul front bumper and new 18" ultralite speedstars were on first and refurbed the calipers. Wasn't anywhere near enough so next it was stripped for are full respray and some minor alteration. Sponge rear hatch spoiler removed, hatch completely flushed, Stonechip effect on sills and lower bumper removed and replaced with a smooth finish stone guard (on sills) Car Respreyed in original silver with a silly amount of laquer on top: Front hubcentrics fitted to bring the wheels out in the archies (small things like this make a huge difference in my eyes) Onto the interior.............. Tweed ripped out and replaced with grey/ violet suede and white/ black leather seats Centre dash panel mutilated to accommodate 7"touchscreen bluetooth DVD system which runs full diag/ data logging program's via an ecu talk interface plasma dials fitted also. Chassis, rear steer rack "HICAS" ripped out and replaced with driftworks HICAS eliminator, not a weld in sight Coilovers fitted,Front and rear Adjustable suspension arms still to be fitted very shortly The car should be running around 360bhp @15psi and is quite a hand full, these shorty slicktops are lighter and nimbler than the bigger lwb version but less stable so it throws it's arse out constantly, quite a lively drive Well hope you guys have been entertained by my post for at least 30 secs lol comments welcome, thanks Davie
