  1. :( My beautiful Sunset has a new owner,Mike46.I am sure she has gone to a good home.I would like to thank Mike for a hassle free sale.I would also like to say what a great forum this is.Thanks for any feedback to my posts. Not only did I learn about the Zed,but general life aswell.I learned that tradesman are overpaid and surgeons can barely survive on £75000 a year!! The dedication shown to the zed by some members is incredible, and understandable! I wish that I had had more opportunity to enjoy my zed,but I am always too busy earning a fortune as a plumber ;) The money I now have burning a hole in my pocket from the sale of the zed will be invested into an addition to my two wheels collection, probably a Ducati Diavel. Best wishes to all forum members!

  2. What a lovely car.

I could touch that mark in on the seat so you could not see it if the new owner wants me to.

But in reality you want to keep her as its testiment to your love for her:)

Thanks,I was actually going to point the new owner in your direction. I would love to keep her,but 700 miles in a year??

  3. For sale due to lack of use. I have only done 700 miles since its last MOT and P3 service which was beginning of last August. As you can see from the pictures she is a stunning head turning beauty! Has only covered 28300 miles in her pampered life.Only one previous owner. Not that many modifications,so ideal for putting your own stamp on it.Of course being the facelift model she has the LED rear lights , projector headlights, and the updated interior which apart from one small mark on the drivers seat is spotless. The mods she has are as follows, Nismo V2 bumper, USM side skirts, 19"LMGT4's which are near to perfect (check the pics) 25mm and 20mm wheel spacers,Eibach lowering springs, induction kit (do not know the brand) . The previous owner was fastidious which the upkeep of the finish of this car and I have continued in the same way.The paint has a real deep gloss shine to it,there are no scratches, dings or dents on the sides or rear of the car.It has a couple of small stone chips on the bonnet, that is it.(its 7years old!) Being a genuine Nismo V2 it has a few fissures near the headlights and I have shown these in the pictures. Also a light kerb bump to the lip and a small (five pence piece size graze on the corner of the lip, again both shown in the pictures.I am sure I have forgotten to mention something,so,of course I welcome questions from genuinely interested parties. I must apologies for the lack of paragraphs, for some reason my return key is not working on this forum?? I am asking £8750 Please PM me for more info.thanks for reading.001.jpg002-1.jpg003.jpg004.jpg005.jpg006.jpg007-1.jpg008-1.jpg009.jpg012.jpg010.jpg011.jpg015.jpg014.jpg

  5. Thinking of selling the Zed due to lack of use,700 miles since last MOT and P3 a year ago!!

It's an 06 GT facelift in Sunset with 28500 miles on it.

In fantastic condition i.e no dents, scratches, door dings etc.

A couple of stone chips on bonnet and the interior is mint apart from one small mark on the leather(bloody jean rivets!!!)

But, the front end is a genuine Nismo V2 and it has a few fissures near the headlights, the lip has had a bit of kerb bump, nothing serious but it shows.

Right,my question is,do I get the front end resprayed before I put it up for sale?

I mean the bumper, not the whole front end.

    Cheers.

  6. Sometimes longshots pay off!

I have a brand new, never sprayed or fitted Strosek spoiler which I cant see myself ever fitting.

    I will PM you Inverno

if he doesn't have it off you for what ever reason ill have it :~))))

You will have second dibs on it

  7. Sorry to read about this mate,Makes the blood boil!!!

I am a bit confused, will you not be going through your insurance to get this sorted?

Or is that not possible because it was an uninsured driver?

I know insurance companies want an extra premium to insure against incidents like this but you would think fully comprehensive means exactly that??!!

  8. I think the fixed penalty for using a mobile phone still isn't high enough. I see people with their phones glued to their ears all the time, and not just when on motorways, but when negotiating junctions, parking, all sorts. It's worrying how much disregard they have for other peoples safety.

Yes, the guy who fitted my boiler has just been done for the 4th time for using his mobile phone :scare: . Some people aren't getting the message and IMHO the deterrent isn't tough enough. I'd like to see 4 points instead of 3 and a punitive sliding scale of fines, first time £250, second time £500, third time £1,000 and a 12 months ban. Anyone caught texting should get 6 points and a £500 fine.

    Pete

    :thumbs::clap:

Its going to make the cost of a new boiler more expensive though! :)
  9. I do not agree with middle lane hogging, but I also do not agree with this new law!

And I can not believe how many are supporting it!

I can see it causing accidents with people trying to squeeze back into the inside lane when their allotted 15secs is up to avoid a fine.

Although this probably will not apply to me.Just checked my MOT from 10 months ago and I have done 650miles in the zed!!!

All done in the fast lane of course!!!
