haha yeah i bet!
did you get your rays allows refurbed in that dark grey colour or were they like it when you brought it? look well smart, would love that colour wheel on mine!
They were like it before I got it but I had always said that it would be the first thing I was going to do when I got one so it saved me doing it. How are you finding the Miltek as I am going to change my exhaust at some point and still not sure what I am going to get.

Yeah it was a good trip until my sat nav turned itself off on the M25 and we had to use Buzz's phone, it was a good opportunity to see some other cars and meet some of the people on here. You should of come!
I know mate, would of done but had gone Cambridge on the Friday and couldnt justify another 40-50 odd quid in petty to come London as well! I saw a pic on Buzz's phone of some of the cars, nice white looking one and think it was coldel's all black zed too
Yeah thats fair enough, there were lots nice cars there and I now have too many ideas of what I would like to do to mine!!

one of which lives down my road 4 doors away!

Hello and
I'm from Melton so not too far and there are quite a few other active members in the area.
-
I will be coming down, managed to get the day off work so I will finally get to meet some of you in the flesh and more importantly the cars.
Hopefully the traffic will not be too bad as this will be my first time going to the cafe!

Any criticism (or tips using photoshop) is welcome and wanted

I just went to fill up as I was indeed near empty and people are queuing 4 deep at my local station. Whilst i was there they ran out of diesel and I dont envy the attendant at all as there were some very unhappy people waiting. I asked the attendant how much petrol he had left and he reckons it will all be gone by midnight!!

I'm sure you will find your dream car with a budget like that. Good luck.

missed a bit
I was waiting for this comment and im sure I did miss a few bits!
Thanks for the comments on the lights, I think i will be keeping them for the time being as a new exhaust is on the cards first. I will get a few pictures in the dark with them on when i get the chance to see if peoples views change
Glad i don't have to mow your lawn
I would literally dream to be able to drive in my garden to detail my car!
As for the garden its my dads so I don't have to worry about the lawn but I can use it whenever I want to bring the car in and detail it Seems to be the best of both worlds.

I thought I would jump on the recent car cleaning bandwagon and show some after pictures of my hardwork.
I washed the car using Autoglym Bodywork shampoo, the wheels were then washed using Autoglym Clean wheels and finally I clayed the car using Meguiars Smooth surface clay kit. To keep the bodywork in tip top condition I sealed it with Autoglym High Definition Wax.
Before I forget, can I have your opinions on the rear lights, they were on the car when I bought it and I'm still unsure.

Ah, I see. Didn't know there was an E-Shift, guess engineering has a different shift pattern to us in the Container Division
Yeah we work just four days and no nights, not a bad little number really!
-
Yes I am actually
C-Shift B-Op
I thought that was you I see driving out in the morning, I am in engineering on E shift.
Liam! It is you indeed I see driving past and making me jealous
I been looking for a Zed since last October but the mileage I have to do for work is putting me off buying one as I know they are petrol hungry!!
How far did you have to go to buy yours? What sorta mpg are you getting goin to felixstowe and back??
I dont mean to make you jealous but it does sound alot better than that damn "Deranged Rover"
I had been looking for about a year before I bought mine and I went to Peterborough to get it, so about 200 miles round trip.
I am getting about 23mpg at the moment but this is partly due to me loving the noisy peddle, the quite roads at 6:30 and the amount of roundabouts, this does drop though if I get too excited.
Even though it will mean I haven't got the only one on the road, I say do it you definatly wont regret it as the pleasure it brings out ways the worry of fuel costs.

Hi just wanted to introduce myself on the forum. I am Liam and I am from near Ipswich, I have been looking at getting a zed for about a year and a couple of weeks ago I finally found one which fitted what I was after.
I have tried to add a picture not sure if it will work though. I would like to thank everyone in advance for the answers to some of the questions I will no doubt be asking.
Advice Please on Michelin PSS or Yokohama AD08
in Tyres
Posted
I am going to have to get some new tyres very soon and I'm undecided as to go for the Michelin Pilot Super Sports or the Yokohama Advan Neova ad08.
I have used the search and as far as I can see they are both very good tyres, but I cant find a direct comparison. The price is very close on black circles so that wont come into it.
I use the car everyday so I will need the best tyre for most conditions, I know the PSS get have better reviews with regards to wet grip but I don't drive the car hard when its wet anyway so this shouldn't be so much of an issue. The AD08 appear to be slightly better in the dry.
Any advice or experiences with either will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Liam
