Update. Spoke to the guy today, im worrying over nothing, hes just looking after his interests on the off chance i dont buy the car. AA inspection tomorrow, ive already booked the flight

Got some info this morning, and if what i think is gonna happen actually happens, i'll be very disapointed. I agreed a price with the guy yesterday, made sure he was happy with that, and then agreed to arrange the AA inspection, which i really need to get done as im travelling a long way to get the car. So i paid for the inspection yesterday, and its been booked for tomorrow, but the guy text me this mornin saying hes had lots of interest since he dropped the price and hes holding off til thursday until i see what i want to do. When i said barring the car falling apart id be taking it, he said "we'll get the inspection done and take it from there". Is it just me, or does that not seem right? Surely he doesnt expect me to change my price because he has alot of interest? The deals done pending inspection surely? I know we didnt have any contract in place or anything, but would any of you agree a price with someone, allow them to book an inspection and flights, and then chnage your mind and sell to someone else? He may just be lookin after his own interests, if i were him id put other interested parties on hold til the deals done too, he has a car to sell after all. Maybe he knows something up with the car. Hi mate, The car has fsh, serviced every 10k or so. The only mods are new wheels, and the seller is private.

Id just like to introduce myself, and also to thank you all. You see, ive been ive been saving for my new 350 for some time, and ive often visited the forum for info such as servicing intervals, and ofcourse, pricing. So firstly id like to thank you all for helping me, even if you have done without knowing! Like i said, ive said for what feels like an eternity for my new 350. I owned a 300zx when living in oz, and ive craved the 350 ever since. Ive agreed a price for the car, but given the distance between buyer and seller, im having an AA inspection done before flying down to collect. Rediculous, i know, but thats what happens when you searching for a specific year, colour etc. The car im purchasing is a 06 (56) 300 gt, grey with orange interior. Its done 50k roughly, just been serviced and motd, and has a full set of brand new wheels and tyres. The down sides, well theres no sat nav, and the tax is up this month. Cant have it all though sometimes eh! Theres a little icebreaker of a question, you guys are in the know, how much should i expect to pay for this car, roughly? Also, any little hints or tips you can give me when viewing? You guys all seem to love the car, but is there anything i should look for in particular, besides the obvious? I cant say ive noticed many recurring faults being highlighted?
