  1. Have to admit having to put a tankful of 95 in my 370 during the the shortage a few weeks ago, but it was that or walking! Can't say I noticed any measurable difference at all. In fact got the same mileage out of it that I normally get on a tank full ofsuper.

I wouldn't do it normally, it was an emergency, so please don't hate me!

I can't see it causing any damage to the engine long term, just might be a bit down on power. If the 98 you put in is old, it's probably only as good as 95 anyway with the way petrol degrades.

  2. Thanks guys.

Took mine to West Way in Aldershot, and they are an HPC dealer. I'll give them another chance as it's due for a service soon. It's done 21k now and the noise only started about 6 weeks ago.

If I get no joy from West Way, I'll give the guys you recommended a call.

  3. Just wondered if anyone else has had the same problem I'm experiencing.

On most gear changes to 5th, either up from 4th or down from 6th, I'm getting a clicking/squeaking noise. It's been into the dealers, who've never come across it before, and they "adjusted and greased the linkage". It was fine for a day or so but has now returned.

Anyone had the same so I can, "assist" the dealer?

  4. Thanks! The irony is that I was actualyl looking to buy one the same as yours! I'm easily led!

Agree there are some good spots to herar the exhaust in Winchester. I can also recommend the Hindhead tunnel late one eveing too if you venture up to north Hants.

I hope to meet you and others at any meets, I'm new to the Zed scene and always enjoyed owner's meets with other makes.

  5. Hi there,

Been visiting the site for a few weeks and now I'm part of the Z family thought I'd better sign up properly.

My name's Dan and have just gotten my hands on a 370Z, thanks to a lot of information from this site to make my mind up. i'm based in the North Hampshire area.

It's my first Z, and my first Japanese car so I'm looking forward to the experience.

Hopefully see some of you around!
