  1. The underside w brace on the z is a bit rusty and needs replacing and I'm not sure if I just change it for a standard part or are there any updated replacement options. Seen loads of braces and not sure if there are an as well as in in stead of. Thanks for any help in advance and sorry if this has been covered before or is a bit obvious

  2. Yh the brake fluid was done 6months ago so he checked it but that's fine he did the plugs and changed all the ancillary belts too. Sounds like everything's been done he's just put p2 and then listed the extra items seperatly. I just seen p2 in the book an thought that's not right

  3. Put the 350z in for a service yesterday and the garage has done a p2 service when it was due a p3. I know the LSD oil has been changed coz that was something I said I wanted and he did as an extra but what else should have been done that won't have been? That's the only difference I can see in the service book

  4. I have Brocken the plastic interior ultrasonic sensor and need a replacement. I went to my local Nissan dealer and the said the part is from a dealer fitted optional cobra tracking system so the cant supply a replacement they have to fit a new kit at a cost of a few hundred quid. This sounds a bit funny to me. Is this true? And more importantly anyone know we're I can get the bit

  5. Thanks for the help guys the disk/pads and anti roll bar links I was quiet happy with just £419 for a bush I thought was a bit steep but it's obviously right what he told me. Zmanalex is that price for both bushes? Guessing u can get them coz there not Nissan parts?

  6. Just had an mot last week now I have taken the z in for its annual service. When I picked the car up had loads of nots not noticed on the mot and the quotes for the work

    Front disks and pads(£222)

Front lower suspension arm bush collapsed (419)

Rear anti roll bar link (£51.25)

It's a reputable garage I have used for a few years just the lower suspension arm sounds a bit pricy to me. Thought someone on here may have some experience with this. He claimed he can only get the complete arm from Nissan in Japan. The prices include fitting and the tracking.

  7. If u push a car hard u will get used to it quite quickly. I dnt think it's about the performance it's the overall feel of a rwd car that's well set up and has some grunt. Have driven lambos with twice the power of the zed and loads better performance but the zed feels more exciting than a big heavy 4wd car.

  8. Thinking a service could b a good idea. Last 1 was 4500 miles ago but was jan 2011. Were would u guys recommend taking the z. Main dealer or specialist such as Abby? I'm in Somerset near Yeovil is it worth the drive 2 Abby or are there other good places nearer 2 me. Any comments/ experiences would good 2 hear. Thanks for the help/ advice.

  9. Sounds exactly the same as mine. Picked the car up drove home (2hours) then the same happened. From fine 2 nothing. Mine had a new motor at the local Nissan dealer luckily I got a warranty from the jag dealer when I bought it. Bill was about £400.
