  1. That's brutal!!! But... no hookers?? Worst thread ever
  2. My Zed went to get an alignment. I took the oportunity to get the missing photos.
  3. Thanks a lot guys. I think i will give it a try, nothing to lose i guess. First 3 (LOL), are pretty much free flow, the inner diameter doesn't change. I guess the back box may restrict a bit i guess (but less than the stock), it's the price for a "silent" exhaust. If my Z was a weekend car i would have surely gone for a more noisy system. But for a daily use and 500 miles voyages I've gone for this. I've not yet dynoed the car but im expecting some gains, i think overall is a very good compromise performance/sound.
  4. Hello everyone and greetings from Portugal. Please excuse some errors on my writing, since English it’s not my native tongue. After reading several threads about different combos, and having to resist the urge to buy the more proven exhaust, I’ve gone for a custom exhaust, and since I've never seen this configuration i though sharing with you. I’m trying to get a silent system without drone or rasp that allows for long trips. This is the first part of the job Decat Y-pipe with two resonators. 2.5’’ to 3.’’ Videos with the stock mipipe and muffler. I was not completely happy with the sound so a few weeks later the second part of the "job" was underway. My camera was repairing, so unfortunately i don't have photos of the fabrication and the assembly. But the midpipe and the backbox are similar to the milltek system as you can "guess" from the video This is the final product, some warm revs: I was aiming for a free flow exhaust as silent as possible. 2.5'' pipes from the headers to 3'' connection, then 3'' all the way. The car as 4, yes 4 silencers (2 in the Y-pipe, 1 in the midpipe(as big as possible LOL) and a OEM sized final silencer , so it's is very mild in volume and no rasp, despite being decatted. Currently it is as loud as the stock exhaust with test pipes. It gurgles at lot more. No drone at constant speed (a big bonus), and a nice and deep tone. The only thing that i think it could be better is the resonance at 2500-3000 rpm. My best guess is that this is byproduct of the removal of the cats and probably being generated from the Y-pipe, do you think that adding heat wrap to this section would diminish this? The butt dyno approves, the car seems is much more responsive overall
