  1. Thanks for the reply. Yes i have looked at the guides it looks like the light needs to be flashing for the ignition reset to work.
  2. I have just had the Zed MOT'd and the airbag light has been on for a while (constant not flashing) and as of March this will become an MOT fail, so looking to get this sorted. The garage ran the car on their diagnostic machine which did not show any code errors. So it looks like i will have to disconnect the battery and remove the module from the centre console and send it off to be reset. Does anyone know how to get to and remove this module? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  3. It looks like it's time to remove the module and send it off to be reset. I understand the module is located under the centre console (behind the handbrake) does anyone know or has seen a guide in accessing the area i need to get to? Any help greatly appreciated.
  4. tprice, Many thanks for your reply, i will have a look under the seats to check the occupancy sensors. As for the fault code? Found this link regarding codes: http://forums.nicoclub.com/350z-diagnos ... 82298.html Will this give me a fault code? Will i need to find someone with a specific scan tool? Apologies for the Q's car technical knowledge is not a strong point. Thanks for the help.
  5. I realise this topic has been discussed on many threads and many people have provided a great amount of detail and I thank them for that, I have read and tried to digest most of it. My car had front left hand side impact (airbag deployed) previous to my purchase and thus after repair the light remains constantly on. After reading the thread: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=49776&p=725581&hilit=airbag+light#p725581 I understand crash data is stored on the airbag module within the centre console and I may need to remove this and send it off clearing and resetting. My question is what else do I need to check / do (impact sensors etc..) before I get the module reset? So that when the reset module goes back it is not sent the same errors again? Note: Seatbelt tensioneris are ok. (pulls out and retracts again) Any help is greatly appreciated.
