  6. I have my second ski holiday of the year at the weekend! :teeth:

Sadly i am going to Scotland and the conditions are arse!

I was up the Cairngorms last weekend which still had some decent snow on the top half of the mountain - full cover from top to mid stations. I would advise going early if that's where you are headed as it was mobbed due to the small number of runs open - I think they stopped selling passes around mid-morning on Sunday!

Not been able to get abroad this season due to lack of funds so need to get my fix from the sh1tty conditions here unfortunately :(

  7. Tarmac how would you say your Tanabe compares to the invidia and scorpion noise wise? Similar, or is it night and day :)

I actually have Tarmac's old tanabe with a stillen y pipe on my zed now and I think it sounds just right. Nice deep growl when you step on the loud pedal but quite civilised when driving normally and not droney on the motorway. I guess with HFCs it might be a bit too loud though

  8. Sat one of these courses at the weekend in N. Ireland after being clocked at 42mph in a 30mph zone back in the summer - I wasn't even in the zed but an automatic Honda CRV! :(

Only bit that really perked my interest was when the instructor told a story about how some young lad had taken his new high powered sports car out for a spin and lost control of it coming off the road into some trees. He then showed pictures of the accident and yup, you guessed it, the car turned out to be a 350z (or Nissan 240x as the instructor called it!). It was sad to see a zed all smashed up like that :(

  9. Have them on my rears here - they were on the zed when I bought it. Never heard of them before so was expecting them to be pants and I would have to change them but have been pleasantly surprised with them so far. Pretty decent grip in the dry but they are a bit twitchy in the wet though. I'll probably change them to 452s when the time comes but they'll do until then

Not zed specific, but they got pretty decent reviews on other cars here
