This may sound unlikely but I had a similar problem. Have you made sure your left foot is totally off the clutch pedal when trying to engage CC. Apologies, if you've already done that, but worth a mention...
I can confirm I tried with my foot off the clutch also removed the cable and attached to the sensor and then put it back on. I wonder if the switch is dead but I see no cruise control lights on the dash when i press the button, like it does not exist.

Hi all, I'm quite familiar with 370Zs, but I'm currently dealing with an issue I can't figure out. The cruise control buttons aren't working at all, while the volume controls function just fine.
I've removed the airbag to inspect the connections, and everything appears to be properly connected with no visible damage. I also tried to locate a fuse related to cruise control but couldn’t find one.
Does anyone know what might be causing this? Or could point me to which fuse (if any) controls the cruise control system?
Thanks in advance!

Is the steering column lock lever in the locked position?
I can confirm this is now fixed. there were 12mm nuts holding the steering wheel the U-cip must of come out of its place. it was tricky doing it alone I was able to put it back in place and tighten the bolts.

Hi ZMANALEX, It's been a whileAround 10-12 years ago I bought some parts from you for my 350z :).
I can confirm the steering wheel is in locked position I was going to remove the plastics today to investigate but it was raining, i will try remove it tomorrow. -
Hi all,
The steering wheel on my 370Z moves side to side when I give it some power. I don’t remember my old 370Z doing this. Has anyone experienced this issue before? I’m thinking something might be loose. Thank you for the help in advance.

Hi everyone, I recently purchased a damaged 370Z. I used to own one but sold it about four years ago. Now I’ve got another, but I need to fix a couple of issues before I can get it back on the road. No airbags were deployed during the crash. I tried clearing the codes using my diagnostic app, but that didn’t work. The pop-up hood fault codes could be related to the front bumper being loose or possibly some damage behind it. However, I have no idea what’s causing the other airbag codes. Has anyone come across this issue? Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi all,
I hope you all are well.
I'm after some nismo parts;
-Front bumper
-Rear bumber
-both rear lights
-driver side - side skirts.
Is Zmanalex around? :)

Hi all,
I hope everyone is well.
I'm not sure what is wrong but there is no water coming out from the rear washer, I can hear the pump, so I assume it's not a pump issue. Also instead of the rear, it comes out from the front washer when I try to get rear washer to start spraying any ideas why? do you guys think the pipe is blocked?
Thank you in advance.

Does 'doe' mean though????
Messing about with insurance isn't worth it. Do it properly or don't buy the car.
Who wants £5k for insurance? Have you tried the comparison sites? I have found in the past that if you run a comparison then contact the lowest quote you can usually get it cheaper still.
yes, i tried go compare and moneysupermarket, still too high
-
You could just hold off a few years mate until you can afford proper insurance
yeap i totally agree with you, i should do that
-
*sigh*
Dude - you stick alloys, big exhaust, decats, bodykit and a twin turbo on your car.........you don't tell the insurance company because its going to put your insurance up to 5k so keep schtum and it stays at 1k
Think carefully before you answer............are you insured?
I'll give you a clue - it got an 'o' in it and it begins with an 'N'.
As someone state above why **** 1k into the wind for an insurance policy thats invalid from the day you pay for it!!!!!!!
Why's it so high mate? Do you have points or an accident or something? 5k seems loopy even for a 21 year old - have you tried Admiral.
m8 let me tell you something, insurance prices changes everyday, within two years they increased the prices by %35 because of the accidents, and it depends on the the area you live, if you are living outside london you probably pay between 1-2k, but i live in london so im paying more then what you are paying... and i been driving for 4 years, no points, 2 year claim bonus...and no accidents...
-
Jesus............. mate if ur not on the books then dont do it... as chris says you will not be covered.
yea his right, if i had the money i wouldnt do it, but they want 5g from me to insure the car, so aint got any other choice, i cant pay 5g for insurance,

ohh, i feel better now
thanks for the reply, im going to get trade insurance, its much cheaper
i got ep3 type r now im trying to get rid of that
when i get rid of that there is nothing stopping me from getting a 350z
But are you a trader? If not and you declare that you are then essentially you are not insured.
well my friend got a garage so his going to show me as im working there...
-
well, my friend got a garage and he said he could insure me on the type r (group 17) for £600 a year (third party only doe) so im assuming ill probably pay around 1grand for the 350z, i not sure doe it might be less or high...
