Holdcroft Nissan, Crewe - Not good Took mine in to them first thing on Monday morning for a P2 and MOT. Courtesy car for the day. 4.30pm got a message to say that it's ready to collect. When I got there, the receptionist says 'It's been serviced Sir and it has passed the MOT but you will need to replace the brake pads as soon as possible. The fronts are 95% worn'. Pardon? Should this not have been done during the service? Perhaps a courtesy call to ask me if I don't mind spending another £350ish (£152 fronts and £190 rears) but it should have been done, but when I asked the question, I was told that they don't carry them in stock! Perhaps not, but most reputable and customer orientated dealers would have sourced them within a couple of hours. Now I have the inconvenience of having to find another spare day to have the work done (it won't go back to Crewe). As a side note here, a local independent who I trust has quoted to do all four corners with Ferodo pads for £150 fitted! I have asked him to price up Nissan pads though.
