Thanks, just realised what I'd done!

PRICE REDUCED FOR QUICK SALE AS I NEED THE SPACE!! DOWN FROM £14250 TO £10250. Lovely condition 350Z GT with HKS supercharger. Engine rebuilt just over 4000 miles ago with forged rods and pistons by Abbey Motorsport. All work, including re-mapping carried out by Abbey Motorsport too. 420hp and 360 ft/lb at the hubs was later raised by changing the charger pulley netting an extra few hp and torque but I don't have these figures to hand. Just over 36000 miles on the car itself.

It's only been used as a sunny day car since then and never been on the track. Long MOT and taxed.

Black Rays with 050 tyres have had approx 5000 miles use. At that same time I had a full service, front discs, pads all round, front and rear drop links and tracking done, again, all by Abbey.

Nismo exhaust with de-cats sounds great as does the blower intake noise hence I hardly ever use the double din Alpine stereo which takes an iPhone etc. Personalised plate included in the sale.

This is a very reluctant sale of an amazing car but times and circumstances change unfortunately.

Asking £14250 ( less than half I have invested in it!) but open to serious offers.

Having travelled right across Russia and Siberia, none of that surprises me! But that is one place I'd hate to have to wait for the emergency services to turn up!

Can't see how the radio can effect those other functions, very odd. I have the Alpine unit in my Z that Ian fitted, very similar to the Pioneer unit. I had no issues with it apart from it needed a new direct switched feed as the loom feed wasn't up to it when cranking.

The pioneer in my Navara works 'fine' but it has got it's annoying quirks which Pioneer should've sorted out before releasing it for sale.

It's bizarre that it doesn't work with Android (i use iPhone 4s) as there are two buttons on the facia specifically for android phone use.

Despite Abbey advising against spacers, I had them fit some. Scary, so they 4 wheel aligned it, still scary handling, especially at speed on some surfaces plus you had to really 'steer' it out of a tight turn otherwise it wanted to go around in circles.

I still have spacers, but they're on a shelf in the workshop!

Yeah, its just an LED ring. You might have to just make your barrel surround a bit bigger to fit it in

My '05 Navara has an illuminated ignition switch, an orange rim around the switch body. It's really handy in the dark instead of fumbling around trying to find it. Has anyone fitted anything similar to their Z?

I lost all trip comp functions on my Navara when we fitted that unit but that was because the trip comp operated through the stock radio/nav system.

I'm sure Ian will sort it out, just cut him a bit of slack when waiting for a solution as Pioneer's tech dept aren't that fast at replying. He's fitted two units for me, the Pioneer in y Navara and an Alpine in my Z. Top job both times and great after sales backup.

Mark at Abbey has started a development program for these. He's been scaring the local GTi drivers around Surrey!

I believe Mark at Abbey can do uprev maps from their library to suit different set ups, then you can data log and he can adjust your tune, all by email. I could be completely talking out of my arse but worth giving them a call 01883 732331

All removed for the Olympic cycling, but I bet they're put back pretty soon

I've got 370 headers, Berks (iirc!) XYZ and Nismo on the exhaust side. It's nice and quiet cruising, no drone at all but (for me) a bit too conspicuous when hitting the skinny pedal.

I strongly recommend getting a ride in a few cars with different set ups to see what you like. It's a big outlay to be disappointed with! I'm happy with mine but, I certainly wouldn't mind something a bit quieter (should've listened to Abbey when they recommended the Miltek!!)

 

Nismo a lot louder with hfc's then? I would love that sound though I'm sure milltek/invidia sound similar?

Even the stock exhaust sounds good with HFCs but my intake noise was drowning out the exhaust noise in the cabin so I wanted something a bit louder. I expect the Nismo with stock cats would sound quite nice!

I liked the look but couldn't put up with the tram lining and having to 'steer it' out of turns. Mine are on the shelf now!

these abbey motorsport appear to be very busy and havent returned my calls... is there any others in the area that are worth trying?

That's very unusual to not answer. Did you press option 1 for Scott? They're always busy but have good customer service.

I phoned Aviva yesterday. They declined to quote. 48, clean license, live in Surrey. I think it all went wrong when I said 'supercharged'
