Probably a stupid question but how do I check for air leaks?
I didn't remove the MAF sensor from the intake pipe when fitting the JWT, so that shouldn't be the problem? I might unplug and replug the MAF, see if that fixes it (Maybe it has to be reset?).

I fitted my JWT pop charger today but decided to not install the heat shield as I think it looks
Obviously the heat shields role is to protect heat from the engine to the JWT or vice versa.
My question is will this affect performance or any other possible defects? As would prefer to fit the shield than cause damage.
I've also started to get idling problems with the JWT fitted The car starts fine, then the rev counter goes up then drops to 0 and cuts out. But if I slightly touch my accelerator it idles okay. What could this be? How do I fix the problem?
Thanks

Just to clarify the bore size is 80mm

Hi Jez,
I'm after the silver coloured plastic bits on the steering wheel that encloses the steering control buttons and the lower part of the dash (section that encloses the heating control).
If they are in good condition with no marks etc then can you give me a price please?
Thanks

Steve,
Do you have a pic of it fitted?
Thanks

Hi,
I purchased a Blitz oil cap last week but have changed my Plans, so have this up for sale.
It's brand new in box, just took it out of its packaging to take a picture of it.
I paid £52.80 for it, so am asking for £40 delivered.
Thanks

I'm mainly worried about rubbing against the arches because of the offsets on my wheels (big offset on the rears).
Do you know if running eibachs with a 30mm drop, with 20mm spacers front and rear with the below wheels offsets will cause no hassle?
Front wheel setup 245/30ZR20, offset 20 x 8.5
Rears wheel set up 275/30ZR20, offset 20 x 10
Thanks

Hi,
I want to get rid of the big gap between my wheels and arch, but don't want to start scraping my arches if I lower my car.
I have 20 inch wheels (Front set up is 245/30ZR20, rears set up is 275/30ZR20), I'm currently running 20mm spacers on the front and will be adding 20/25mm spacers to the rear when I lower my car.
So am in the predicament of deciding between Tein S or Eibach pro kit lowering springs. What do you think will be best for my requirements? Does anyone have Teins or Eibachs fitted with 20 inch wheels? I can only find forum members with 19 inch wheels...

Maybe you have a larger picture? Or Pic with it fitted to a 350Z?
Thanks

Has anyone fitted these to their 350Z?
Just want to know if there is any fitment/quality problems?
As am very interested in these.

Have I missed out on this?

Hi,
Have just got a Berks pipe and JWT pop charger, but the silicone couplers that come with the Berks (that connect the intake pipe to the throttle body and MAF sensor) are in black
I want the silicone couplers in blue, my question is does anyone know:
(1) Where to get blue silicone couplers from, preferably a branded name i.e samco?
(2) What sizes and angles they are? i.e. 100mm 45 degree?
Thanks

Okay, if you could let me know on the Stillen rad cap
As I would preferably like matching rad and oil caps (Sorry about my OCD).
-
I think I can still get them, But they are a very slow moving item, took nearly a year to sell two of the new style ones. Plus they are around £65 which is pricey for what they are.
I can do a Stillen Oil cap for £40 and a Stillen CF engine cover for £150
Plus I can do some Stillen Battery & Brake covers for £120.
Prices are for a very limited time only though.
Can you get a matching Stillen radiator cap?
Also, can you get polished coolant, power steering and washer fluid caps? As want to save the hassle fitting polished tanks.
Thanks

Hi,
Am after a carbon fibre engine cover for the VQ35DE engine (2003 - 2006).
New or used
Thanks

Has anyone polished the OEM strut brace? To save forking out for a new polished one?
If so, do you have any pics and how easy is it do?
Thanks

Hi tarmac,
Do you sell the old style nismo oil cap (solid billet oil cap)?
Thanks

I thought the same, but out of stock unfortunately
Heat shield required for JWT? Also idle problems..

Looking at the positioning of the heat shield on the JWT, it's going to get heat on the filter whether the heatshield is there or not, I assume the filter needs to be enclosed completely to remove all heat soak?
If I left the heat shield off what am I really going to lose out on? If it's only a few hp then I'll live with that, ss I don't track my car, nor thrash it on the roads, just some spirited few hundred yards here and there
I think the fitment is really poor of the heatshielf and is more likely going to come off than stop heat soak! Maybe I am missing the point?
