  1. Hi,

    Has anyone had this issue.

I have a 2005 GT4, bought i set of facelift LED rear tail lights and its not a direct fit, the connectors won't fit into the LED tail lights.

    My standard tail light connector,

Whats my options other than messing around with the wiring.

    Thanks.

  2. The story goes,

"3-4 weeks ago i dropped the car off to have the front bumper and rear re-sprayed as well as having a new C-West CF front lip spoiler fitted. While i had the car in the garage i had them sort out the MOT for the car that was due, which i knew required new front disc and pads. The guy at the garage said he had a set of DBA 4000 series slotted front and rear discs which one of his customers had on his 350z for a day (so he said) which he felt was not good so bought a set of big brake kit all round which he change over too. So the front discs got fitted to my car along with new Nissan Brembo pads. Collected the car a week later and was told to do slow braking for a good 3 to 4 hundred miles to bed them in, as they were virtually new discs. The journey back home i started experiencing really bad judder on the steering wheel from slow braking high speeds (i would say 40 mph +) and also juddering back and forth from the passenger side again just on braking. Continue to drive the car for a week, searching on the forum for the cause, Some of the posts pointed to the bushes on the front lower arm, so decided it was a good time to upgrade to Superpro lower arm and shock absorber bushes. Got them fitted 2 weeks ago. That resolved the left side of car juddering back and forth cos the left side bushes was completely fooked but still had the steering judder. Getting pi**ed with this as this made driving really crap. So took the car to my usual garage guy and had him check and clean the hub and discs contacts. No luck still had the problem. Back on the forum searching for cause and manage to get the contact details for Marcus. Gave hime a call beginning of the week and explained the situation and he advised a skim will sort it out as it DTV. Booked the car with Marcus today after work, the journey there was awful due traffic on the M25. Got the front discs skimmed and problem is gone, thanks to Marcus. Made the long return journey back a complete joy."

Apologies for the long arse story but did promise Marcus i will write up a post on the forum.

So thanks again Marcus for sorting the problem out.

  3. Hi all,

Following from what this tread is talking about, i found the follow on Ebay,

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200796901923? ... 918wt_1163

just wondered if anyone on here have tried it. as it mentions that the kit will allow an Evo 6-9 calipers to fit onto a 350z with 345mm discs.

I am in the process of changing discs and pads on my 350 GT4 and it might be a possible route to take, if not the dba 4000 with bell housing/DS2500 as my original option.

    Thanks.

    Wayne.

  4. Just had them fitted by Bennett yesterday, had a good test run after the install, and what a joy to drive on the journey back. Notice a difference in torque around the mid-range. The item was in excellent condition and Bennett is a top notch guy. Thanks.......

  5. Just popped over to GT4 Zed have the mrev2 installed. The unit was in excellent condition and Bennett is a top notch guy. The drive back was a enjoying drive noticed the difference in the mid-range torque even tough i didn't install the spacer or up-rev tune yet. Very happy with the whole thing, had a good test run afterwards as well.

    Thanks Bennett...........
