  1. Many thanks for your replies. What I feared I suppose but not really unexpected. thanks david
  2. Hello there! I've had a 2004 350Z for several years now. It has never given me problems and apart from a new exhaust it has been reasonable to maintain. Recently I have noticed something unusual. When accelerating hard and moving up through the gears the revs change as expected, however, when cruising along in say in 4th at 2500-3000revs and the accelerator pedal is pressed hard the revs increase slightly before dipping for a second or two. After the dip the revs increase as expected. Any idea what the problem might be? Could it be the clutch? If so, is the repair likely to be hugely expensive or reasonable? Many thanks David
  3. I'm sure this topic comes up frequently! The original exhaust in my 350 has after 65k started to fail. What parts will I require for my local small garage to replace the system? I guess I will need new cats? Will the old cats be worth. Anything? Thanks. David
  4. My 2004 350Z has a Sony radio / cd in place of the original Bose system. I soon discovered that the Sony system didn't drive the rear speakers so I went in search of a solution. In the absence of a local specialist I ended up at halfords who have tried to be very helpful. Unfortunately they have failed! They advised me to get an "audio active adaptor lead" which wasn't the answer. Apparently some sort of "box" is required between the radio and speakers. Any suggestions? Thanks David

  6. Thank you for the reply, I guess I need to contact a car radio specialist company. I will look locally. Thanks. Dvid
  7. The 04 reg 350Z I have had for 2 years doesn't have the original radio and of course the steering wheel radio controls don't work. Is it possible to get the original radio installed along with the steering wheel controls? Thanks. David
  8. My 2004 350Z has just recently passed its MOT with the advice that the exhaust system and heat shield for the catalytic converter are seriously corroded. Any tips as to where I can buy suitable replacements? I would prefer non Nissan supplied for obvious cost reasons. many thanks David
  9. I have a 2004 350Z. The small rectangular decorative panels above the door handles have gone really grey and blotchy. Does anyone sell these? If so how much please. thanks david
