Yea it's a different bus, but not entirely different. If you translate the link with something like google you can see the success the guy in Japan has had with making it work with elm scan 5 Bluetooth by altering the connections

Yea I had a look argue autosnap one but I'm after something for either Bluetooth or wifi to link to a carputer ect or even the correct 16pin cable and software

Hey all, well I know there has been quite allot of people looking at Bluetooth/wifi obdII readers for there Z's and where it has come into some problems with jdms with them not connection to the bus properly.

This has allot to do with it being jobd and using a 16pin connector and also a different form of communication.

Iv been doing some research into this myself over the past few days and looking around allot of jp sites. From this I have managed to find this;

Which is basically spliceing the 16pin connector into the relevant obd cable to make it work with the Bluetooth elmscan 5.

I'm currently talking with the poster and they will be sending through a wireing guide for spliceing and what items will be needed ect.,

With this in mind does anyone else know of any obdII Bluetooth/wifi adapters that will communicate with a JDM?

Cant remember exactly where you are located in Sheffield, but it may be an idea to meet up in the lay by on the right just after you go over the Lady Bower bridge, then we can tackle the Snake togetter.

That sounds like a good idea, and snake is such an impressive road. Well anywhere in Sheffield is good for me as I live in the city centre

Put me down for location B or anywhere along the way after Sheffield as your route isn't too far from mine especially near the city centre

looks pretty well on the sunset, like the height of your ride. Would want it to be more dip front though and higher rear

id love to go a bit lower but any more and speed bumps will be impossible! there pretty harsh at the moment lol, but i do think its sitting very well

how else can i say this other then still very interested with this! did you manage to see if the bluetooth adapter will work with JODB and the same for torque or will people with imports have to go with something like dash command?

and out of curiosity what did you do with your old system?

Basically iv moved house this month so I'm goof to be turning one of the rooms into a man cave! Just need some ideas on what to put in there. Obviously big tv, sound system, lazy boy chairs are a must.

But iv also been contemplating building a bar, arcade machines, pin ball, pool table ect ect so though I'd get some ideas off you lot as I'm so indecisive
