  1. my average mpg is 29.12 in the s2k compared to the 24.40 average of the zed.

average cost per mile in the s2k is 19p per mile

average cost per mile in the zed is 34p per mile

that doesnt take into account that fuel was cheaper when i had the zed

all the data is off my software that i log every fill up in the petrol station on. i kept all the data from the zed and i can compare the 2 very accuratlely this takes into account the same driver over a long period of time same type of drives roads etc; as its my daily driver.

can give you more stats if you like but thought they were the most important to give you the best idea.

my opinion the performance is almost identical (different drives of course) but you get alot more bang for you buck with the S2k (financially speaking of course)

Out of interest can you give all the data leading to those figures?

  2. Cost of your last tank and miles covered please.

None of the I put £30 in a did 4 miles hero rubbish please!

Official figs say around 25mpg combined. So do you make that?

lol no one is cool with the kids here unlike CS  .

25mpg is about right. I get about 29mpg but at drive at night at 50mph on the duel carrige way but round town and a little bit of 50mph mixed in 25mpg sounds right.

Without starting another war IMO its worth it to fill up with 99ron as you will get noticebly better mpg.

How you going to drive it as in id imagine its your daily but on motorway, round town or both?

    Who were you on CS?

I'd use it as a daily. So 20 mile commute each day. Done fully on B roads.

My M3 used to average 26mpg on that route so i hope the Z will do roughly the same.

  3. My 300zx twin turbo felt a lot faster than my 350z GT4, it isn't, but the power delivery in the 300 was a lot more brutal, realistically though, the 300

seemed more dangerous because it wasn't as stable at higher speeds, particularly in bends.

But standard Z's are only 276bhp - it's lively but it's not the same experience as some of the 400bhp sports cars around,

or a TVR etc but at least when you run a 350z you know it's not absolutely necessary to have AA breakdown recovery...

Oddly enough the TVR was the most reliable car i've owned to date! The M3 spent most of its life broken.

  4. I don't expect top whack for the range rover especially since I paid next to nothing for it. Still being freshly serviced, painted and with the twin tank LPG system on it, it should go fairly well.

I'll be looking to buy as soon as the range goes, so most likely the end of the month Ian.

  5. After deciding that I'd like a Z I've been scouring the ad's to see what you can get for about £9k and well prices are all over the place for UK cars.

There are 53 plate mid mileage cars @ £10k but yet some are £8k

This super cheap and low mileage 04 plate http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/2380110.htm

There was even an 55 plate on 110k for £9200.

I know we all try and keep prices up but there really is a huge spread in Z pricing when there is very little difference in spec.

  6. On a long run (Mainly motorway) I can get about approx 400 miles to a tank. On average I think I get about 300-350 miles to a tank depending on how I drive. My MPG seems to be on 23mpg (+ or - 1) most of the time

If I drove every where like I stole it then it would be a lot less

How much roughly to fill the tank?

    Why does that matter?

Tank Capacity x Cost per ltr = Roughly how much

It matters to give a closer representation of fuel consumption.

You never fill from bone dry empty though. I think the red light will come on when there is about 9/10 litres left. So i'm guessing a average fill will be 50-60 litres?
