  1. Cheapest I can find for him is £360 delivered. I see most people pay £332 for them, where is this from?
  2. Its still on their advertising system as the new owner hasn't collected it yet. Good luck trying to get hold of someone on the phone. That dealership is awful!
  3. That car was sold before Christmas. The advert is a mistake.
  4. Fair point. It must be right, just looks a bit odd.
  5. Oh I just thought it was odd that a circa 20% difference in MPG caused a circa 50% difference in running cost.
  6. Why are you avoiding cars that have had paint work? I had the front and rear of my Range Rover sprayed just because i like to have things mint. One of my friends Clio V6's gets a front end and arch respray every winter.
  7. I just wanted to know what other figures apart from MPG went into the cost per mile?
  8. Out of interest can you give all the data leading to those figures?
  9. They are full disks. The landrover lot have used them for years.
  10. Paul is only 45 mins down the road. He did the mapping on my MX-5. Whats the problem with the Y pipes?
  11. I'll have it less than a year. I don't seem to keep stuff long. Yeah I remember him. He had this. Following Mike with his Z3M.
  12. Dblock. Yeah I know MX-5's inside out! I'll just be adding an exhaust to it. I won't bother 'wasting' money modding it!
  13. After listening to a few videos online i think the Scorpion is too loud and raspy for me. I like the Jap speed as it seemed that it was reasonably restrained.
  14. As above. Lowest i can find so far is £350 delivered.
  15. lol no one is cool with the kids here unlike CS . 25mpg is about right. I get about 29mpg but at drive at night at 50mph on the duel carrige way but round town and a little bit of 50mph mixed in 25mpg sounds right. Without starting another war IMO its worth it to fill up with 99ron as you will get noticebly better mpg. How you going to drive it as in id imagine its your daily but on motorway, round town or both? Who were you on CS? I'd use it as a daily. So 20 mile commute each day. Done fully on B roads. My M3 used to average 26mpg on that route so i hope the Z will do roughly the same.
  16. Oddly enough the TVR was the most reliable car i've owned to date! The M3 spent most of its life broken.
  17. TVR insurance is CHEAP. MSM insurance. 21, 3 years NCB. £708 fully comp with an agree'd value of £22k.
  18. I don't expect top whack for the range rover especially since I paid next to nothing for it. Still being freshly serviced, painted and with the twin tank LPG system on it, it should go fairly well. I'll be looking to buy as soon as the range goes, so most likely the end of the month Ian.
  19. After deciding that I'd like a Z I've been scouring the ad's to see what you can get for about £9k and well prices are all over the place for UK cars. There are 53 plate mid mileage cars @ £10k but yet some are £8k This super cheap and low mileage 04 plate http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/2380110.htm There was even an 55 plate on 110k for £9200. I know we all try and keep prices up but there really is a huge spread in Z pricing when there is very little difference in spec.
  20. Haha sadly 12 MPG and £700 for a cheap service wasn't much fun! I did 9k in it in 7 months!
  21. How much roughly to fill the tank? Why does that matter? Tank Capacity x Cost per ltr = Roughly how much It matters to give a closer representation of fuel consumption. You never fill from bone dry empty though. I think the red light will come on when there is about 9/10 litres left. So i'm guessing a average fill will be 50-60 litres?
  22. Cost of your last tank and miles covered please. None of the I put £30 in a did 4 miles hero rubbish please! Official figs say around 25mpg combined. So do you make that?
