I had a an Alfa 164 Super Lusso for 12 years, no problems (very lucky). It was a dream of a car to have, wooden steering wheel, leather, racing suspension, just great to drive. I then had a 166 TI for 5 years (55 plate one of the last production for UK) and that was again, brilliant! and then the accident! someone decided to re-design my car from behind pushing me to on comming traffic!. After that I had problems finding a 166 TI, a proper full monty TI. Not all Alfas are the same, personally for me the 164 and 166 will give you the true experience of having a Alfa, knowing that you have one that works! loL! While searching for my Alfa, I saw the 350Z by chance and thought why not? checked the car on Parkers guide, reviews and it got the thumbs up I do miss my Alfa, but the Z does put a smile on my face Alfas are now much better than before and hand on heart, driving my 166 TI 55plate was so exclusive; if I parked in a carpark, drove across the country I would rarely see another 166, let alone a facelift TI. But as they say all good things! loL! Alfa is a car that you buy for you, it will not give you the driving thrill like a Z, be reliable as a Z, but hey its an Alfa.
