I have a 2004, 350z GT Coupe on 63k miles...... It was recently in the garage due to the engine management light being ON.
They plugged the car in and the faults came back to be the Lambda sensor so they changed them both, whilst doing that they turned of the engine management light off, picked the car up and got 2 miles down the road the light came back on.
Took the car straight back to the garage and they plugged it in and done all the test's again and was coming back up with the same problem the Lambda sensor. they didn't have a clue what it could be, the only thing they said it might be is that the catalyitic convertors could be on the way out.
They suggested I take it to Nissan to have it checked, but just haven't had the time to book it in.
Sad to say the car is going next Saturday as a part exchange only because of the kid, (Iv done well iv managed to keep it for a year of her telling me its a white elephant). I done the Pedal dance which was brilliant and only took a couple of attempts and the light came straight off. I done this just round the corner from the car garage and the garage inspected my car and the light appeared as he started it so he is aware the light is on.
The deal is i need the light off when i pick up my new car up, Im based in Windsor and would really appreiciate if any of you experts have a code reader. would be interesting to see if the garage is telling me the truth.
Just as a note the car is running no different
Any advise would be brilliant
Thank You
