Thanks for your advise - we have been on various sites. Car currently insured with Footman James so will speak to them tomorrow.

My 20 yr old son is trying to get an insurance quote on a 1983 MK1 Golf - needs classic car insurance. Can anyone recommend a site/company where we can get an online quote on a Sunday. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Great work - I love to see how nature reclaims what is hers. A reminder of how fragile we are!
Enjoy being back in the zed.

Have you thought of Norway, bit of a mission to get there I know as there are no direct ferries now. We did it several years ago but flew to Bergen and hired a VW Golf. The roads, scenery are awesome up in the mountains and all those tunnels, I think there are about 900 in Norway, that should keep you busy Norway is pricey but worth it if the weather is fine.

Thanks Darren for a great evening. Good food, exciting drive, great company of course. Ian - Glad you car is OK, hope the sunburn has settled down too. Colin - thanks for keeping an eye out for us, just missed one turning on that circular bit, found you all again by Hamstreet. Hope you all enjoyed the rest of the evening, we peeled off to home as the route took us by our house as i have an early start today.
Look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Should be able to join you guys next weekend for this one, as it's just along the road from us. Had a great drive to Rye today from here in Charing. Parked next to a very nice Black GT4 in the car park and saw a rather yummy white R8 soft-top parked in beautiful Rye. Did a bit of shopping and lunch with Charlotte. Win Win
See you all on Saturday.

We parked next to a beautiful black GT4 in Rye, E.Sussex today, around 1pm. Was it you? We flyered it just to make sure they know where to go
Great drive today from Charing to Rye nice walking/shopping/lunch and a lush white R8 soft-top!! - proper girls day out

Really wanted to be there tomorrow but I do need to shoot in a county match and can't get out of it unless it pours hard or there 's a thunder storm. Hope you all have a great day and hope we can make the meet on the 4th June which is just along the road from us.

Top job - fantastic car, fabulous photos, fascinating choice of locations 2.4.7.18. for me.
-
Oh dear - did it twice
-
Very good
Dont forget to wax it
Yep - I used the cleaner wax that came with the kit.
-
looks good,
I'm just taking a break from my first attempt ....
Keep going, the finished result is definitely worth the effort

Here are some new decent photos of my now much shinier car, I used Meguiars Smooth Surface Clay Kit for the first time! Very pleased with the results
And the sun came out for the first time in a few days too

Decided not to try to sort this out myself but took it up to the local garage, who are very helpful, and they put her on the computer. Turned out to be an oxygen sensor on the exhaust, only took ten minutes and no charge, result so no big hassle The light is off and the car is fine. Hooray
Spent the afternoon claying the car for the first time, soooooo shiny will wax it in the morning.
Thanks for the advise.

This is Charlotte: the light was just a solid colour, there was no flashing or anything like that so will look at website later, thanks Dave

Hi everyone
Can anyone tell me what happens next? For seemingly no reason the MI light came on today. Stopped immediately to read the 'owners manual' did as suggested, drove home slowly as it did not need towing. Does this just happen? the car sounds and drives fine.
Any suggestions or prognosis greatly appreciated.
Heather
