  1. Thanks guys, Mine a "hump" free 300. Does the Scorpion definitely fit? Thank again
  2. Took it into JFE in Exter. Had a great experience - gave me loan car and the young guy that did the service was very friendly and informative. BE WARNED - Your've got to haggle on the price - didn't take much haggling mind. They quote £440 for a P2 - I simply told them that they were having a laugh and they reduced it to £290 in about 15 secs (the buggers didn't wash it mind!?!) and when I picked it up they gave me free fully loaded 12 months RAC cover. Saves me £80 a year with the AA so I recon that brings the price down to a back street garage price. However: They wanted £210 for each 050a that I needed - which I didn't buy as I got them down to £146 each at Save on Tyres. and £450 for a new back box as mine had split at the flange - got the flange cut off and a pipe section weilded in for £30, again at Exeters save on tyres. I believe that this frange issue is common with all 350's? If you experience the same issue give em a call and ask for Pat.
  3. I've been hunting for a replacement stainless steel exhaust for my GT as mine had split at the rear flange flange - which I'm told is a common problem?! Japspeed informed me that their K2 wouldn't fit as my 300bhp GT version has a different bumper and the tail pipes wouldn't stick out far enough. Is this true for all off the shelf steel exhausts? - I'd really appreciate it if any other owner of a similar GT model could advice on one which will fit ok?! Not wanting to spend £450 with the main dealer for a standard one I took it to Save On Tyres in Exeter and Pat did a top job of cutting off the flange and wielding the 2 sections together for just £30. Would still like some advice if anyone can help?
  4. Just had my 07 350 serviced at JFE in Exeter. Experienced a great service - but be warned they wanted £440 for a P2. I explained that I wouldn't pay that much and they reduced it to £290 and free 12 month RAC cover straight away. Very helpfull and friendly - will go back to them. However: They wanted £210 for each 050a that I needed - which I didn't buy as I got them down to £146 each at Save on Tyres. and £450 for a new back box as it had split at the flange - got the flange cut off and a pipe section weilded in for £30 again at Exeters save on tyres. I believe that this frang issue is common with all 350's??
  5. Thanks for the advice guys. It's still clunky in 1 st to 2nd when cold but I've done 8k miles in the car now and no other issues have come about.
  6. just about to have my first service. Can anyone recommend where I should take it to - somewhere between Plymouth and Exeter- what are Exeter's main dealer like? Due to have a P2 - being that it's my first service should I go the whole hog and get the P3 to make sure alls well. Whats the difference between the 2? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  7. I've just bought a Uk 2006 face lift Z GT and although all seems well I am getting some worrying clunky noises when changing gear/engaging the clutch a low speed - 1st to 2nd. Should I be worried?
